Hey, Kool, get busy!
Whoo!

The very moment I saw her
I knew that she was the one
For no one else could really move me
You know the girl has got me all turned on
I finally asked her
If she would like to get on the floor
Then maybe later, we could get in something right
I said, "what you wanna stay here for?"

She said, "I'm sorry, baby, but I gotta dance
I don't want no, no romance"

All she wants to do is dance
That's all she wants to do
The little girl wants to dance
All she wants to do is dance
That's all she wants to do
Yeah, yeah

You know I finally got her, mmm...
To come on over to my place
After a long, long night at the party
I figured then we could slow down the pace
You know we laid down by the fireplace
Everything was goin' right for sure
Then all of a sudden, my baby jumped up to me
She swore that she heard a word

You know, she said, "I'm sorry, baby
But I gotta dance
I don't want no little romance, baby"

All she wants to do is dance
That's all she wants to do
The little girl
Little girl wants to dance, baby
All she wants to do is dance
Dance, dance, baby
That's all she wants to do
Oh, no

Hey, K, get with it!

Hey, Kool, get busy!

All she wants to do is dance
Ooh, all she wants to do
Is dance with me, with you
All she wants to do is dance
That's all she wants to do
Yeah, baby
The little girl wants to dance...

Kool & the Gang

Kool & the Gang is an American jazz, R&B, soul, funk, and disco group from Jersey City. They were originally named the Jazziacs when they formed the group in 1964.

They went through several musical phases during their recording career, starting out with a purist jazz sound, then funk and R&B, progressing to a smooth pop-funk ensemble, and in the post-millennium creating music with a modern, electro-pop sound.

The group was becoming prominent in the music industry in the 1970s with hits such as “Holly Wood Swinging”, “Jungle Boogie” and “Summer Madness”. However they cemented their legendary status after the addition of lead vocalist James “J.T.” Taylor. With his help they went on to create classic hits such as “Ladies Night”, “Celebration”, “Get Down On It”, “Cherish” and countless others.
