Seems like the same old thing
Keeps happening over and over
How can we change the way
Of the desperate child
When his heart's been broken
God said we must believe
Deep in the powers of love
How can I be deceived by my brother
Who's in pain just like me

Someday
We've gotta find a better way
A better way
Don't you know that one day
We've gotta find a way to say

Someday, one day
Someday, it's true
Someday, we'll be together one day
Someday, with you

Someone said a messenger
Sending down showers of rain would come
We're so insensitive
Our love for the money
Will find us and block the sun
That what we need today
Is the soldier of love and a lot of rage
Where in this great big world
Can we find love that makes all in equal

Someday
We've gotta find a better way
A better way
Don't you know that one day
We've gotta find a way to say, oh...
Oh, that I love you

Someday, one day
Someday, it's true
Someday, one day
Someday, with you

Someday, one day
Someday, it's true
You got to be free
Someday, we'll be together one day
Someday, with you, oh...

Share a little love, oh...
Dream, dreams of what love's made of, yeah

Someday
Me and you, you and me
We will be free
Someday
Share a little love with your brother
With your sister, yeah
That's the way it goes
We have got to find a way
To love each other, love each other
Oh, we will be together as one, oh...

Kool & the Gang

Kool & the Gang is an American jazz, R&B, soul, funk, and disco group from Jersey City. They were originally named the Jazziacs when they formed the group in 1964.

They went through several musical phases during their recording career, starting out with a purist jazz sound, then funk and R&B, progressing to a smooth pop-funk ensemble, and in the post-millennium creating music with a modern, electro-pop sound.

The group was becoming prominent in the music industry in the 1970s with hits such as “Holly Wood Swinging”, “Jungle Boogie” and “Summer Madness”. However they cemented their legendary status after the addition of lead vocalist James “J.T.” Taylor. With his help they went on to create classic hits such as “Ladies Night”, “Celebration”, “Get Down On It”, “Cherish” and countless others.
