Gang Starr create a track about lending a helping hand, whether providing for them financially or giving them information to keep them out of trouble trying to chase money. DJ Premier said the following about the track: “Guru came up with the concept. We have a lot of friends who need to borrow a lot of money or needs this or that. They’re always in the pen and they always turn to us. It’s sometimes annoying when they ask too much, but every now and then if you need a loan, it’s all good because they’re our loved ones. [Intro]
Time to disappear
Huh, huh
Huh, hmm

[Verse 1]
Time to disappear
I should be thin air
I look so much better that way
I'll be fine next year
I said that last year
Where, it's still a fight against myself
To crack that smile, I heard it helps
I feel cold, we're still in June
Frozen still, still, still it's hard to move

[Chorus]
Plastic people all around me
Hard to hear their hearts at all
Left some loved ones in the valley
I should give them all a call

[Verse 2]
Time to let it go (Go, go, go, go, go)
How I'd get so low?
I was so much better last week
I must find my home
But how to? No one knows, oh
But still I fight, to set me free
To crack that smile, I guess we'll see

[Chorus]
Plastic people all around me
Hard to hear their hearts at all
Left some loved ones in the valley
I should give them all a call, oh

[Interlude]
京都へようこそ, ありがとうございます

[Outro]
Plastic people all around me (All around me)
Hard to hear their hearts at all
Left some loved ones in the valley
I should give them all a call, oh
Yeah
Hello?
