[Intro]
Yeah

[Verse 1]
Count backwards 5, 4, 3, 2, 1
Before you get too heated and turned on (this guy)
You should've learned your lesson all them times before
You've been bruised, you've been broken
And there's my mind saying "think before you go
Through that door, it could lead you nowhere" (this guy)
Has got you all romantic, crazy in your head
Do you think I'd listen?
No, I don't care

[Pre-Chorus]
'Cause I can't focus, I can't stop
You got me spinning 'round, 'round, 'round, 'round
(Like a record)
I can't focus, it's too hot (inside)
You'll never get to heaven, if you're scared of getting high

[Chorus]
(Boy, boy) Let me keep freaking around
I want to get down
I'm a red blooded woman
What's the point in hanging around?
(Boy, boy) Don't wanna keep turning it down
When this girl wants to rock with you

[Verse 2]
My conscience saying "get down off this dream
It's too dangerous and deadly"
(This guy) Has got you talking around in circles, can't you see?
All for the sake of sexy (you're loving it)
Then there's my senses saying "stop before you fall
I don't want to pick you up again" (this guy)
He's got you all romantic and crazier each day
Do you think I'd listen?
There's no way

[Pre-Chorus]
Because I can't focus, I can't stop
You got me spinning 'round, 'round, 'round, 'round
(Like a record)
I can't focus, it's too hot (inside)
You'll never get to heaven, if you're scared of getting high

[Chorus]
(Boy, boy) Let me keep freaking around, I want to get down
I'm a red-blooded woman
What's the point of hanging around?
(Boy, boy) Don't wanna keep turning it down

[Interlude: Where the Wild Roses Grow]
They call me The Wild Rose
But my name was Elisa Day
Why they call me it I do not know
For my name was Elisa Day
For my name was Elisa Day
For my name was Elisa Day

[Bridge]
Freaking around
La, la, la, la, la, la, la, la
Freaking around
La, la, la, la, la, la, la, la
Freaking around
La, la, la, la, la, la, la, la
Freaking around
La, la, la, la, la, la, la, la
Freaking around

[Chorus]
(Boy, boy) Let me keep freaking around, I want to get down
I'm a red-blooded woman
What's the point of hanging around?
(Boy, boy) Don't wanna keep turning it down
When this girl wants to rock with you

(Ladies, break it down!)

[Outro]
Ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah

Thank you!

Kylie Minogue

Kylie Minogue is an Australian singer, songwriter, and actress. Often referred to as the Goddess of Pop with a career spanning over 30 years, she has transformed from girl-next-door soap star to ‘90s pop starlet, and short-lived indie darling to bona fide superstar.

Kylie earned her first big break on the Australian soap opera Neighbours, playing tomboy mechanic Charlene Mitchell. An on-screen romance with Jason Donovan – who played Scott Robinson – blossomed into a real-life relationship, and their wedding on the soap drew in millions of viewers. However, her real ambition was a successful career in music, and by 1988 her debut album, Kylie, was released, reaching #1 in the UK and Australia. Notching up 10 UK Top 3 singles by 1993, she was one of the defining popstars of the early ‘90s. Her follow-ups to the debut album – Enjoy Yourself, Rhythm of Love and Let’s Get To It – all reached the Top 15 in the UK.

With a blossoming relationship with late INXS frontman Michael Hutchence, Kylie was encouraged to be more ambitious with her image and sound. As such, she left her former label, PWL, and released the daring “Confide In Me” in early 1994. Critics praised her re-invention, and the single restored the success she had somewhat lost with her previous album. Impossible Princess was another critical success but failed to make much of an impact on the charts, which led some media outlets to believe that her “15 minutes of fame” were over.
