[Verse 1]
Sweet dreams and the best for you
I'm done getting stressed for you
I wash my hair out in the shower
But something still remains
A feeling that's so strange
And now I can't stop

[Chorus]
Dishes in the kitchen
And dancing in the rain
You're singing in the shower
Your hair stuck in the drain
A party on the weekend
And everyone is here
But it feels so weird without you
Dishes in the kitchen (Mmm, yeah)
And dancing in the rain (Oh)
You're singing in the shower (Mmm, yeah)
Your hair stuck in the drain (Oh)
A party on the weekend (Woo)
And everyone is here (Oh)
But it feels so weird without you
Yeah

[Verse 2]
I wonder if the stars aligned
If there would still be you and me
I want to say that I'm alright
The truth is that I'm so much sad
I crashed the car the other night
Inside the strangest dream I had
(And I wonder what it means)
(And I wonder what it means)

[Chorus]
Dishes in the kitchen (Mmm, yeah)
And dancing in the rain (Oh)
You're singing in the shower (Mmm, yeah)
Your hair stuck in the drain (Oh)
A party on the weekend (Woo)
And everyone is here (Oh)
But it feels so weird without you

[Post-Chorus]
Without you, without you
Without you, without you
Without you, without you
Without you, oh

[Chorus]
Dishes in the kitchen
And dancing in the rain
You're singing in the shower
Your hair stuck in the drain
A party on the weekend
And everyone is here
But it feels so weird without you

Lauv

With an affection for electronic and R&B sounds, infused with his soulful bedroom vocals and airy beats, Ari Staprans Leff, known professionally as Lauv, has burst onto the music scene with his intimate take on romantic pop.

Lauv’s musical beginnings started in childhood, learning strings as well as playing piano, but neither captivated his interest. However, his connection with music grew when he picked up a guitar at the age of 11. From there, Lauv became obsessed with expressing himself musically, which channeled into an interest in songwriting.

Eventually he made his way to New York University (NYU) in 2012, and entered the prestigious Music Technology Program there, having expanded his music interests into jazz and electronic music production in high school to add to his diversified portfolio.
