[Chorus]
Hold me, I can't breathe
I don't wanna die, I don't wanna OD
Cup full of lean, pure codeine
Ten lines deep, now I can't see
I don't wanna be this way for good
I don't wanna live the way I should
Born in the 'burbs, but I'm big in the hood
Tell me that I can't, but I know that I could

[Post-Chorus]
I can hear you callin' to me (Yeah)
I can see you're fallin' for me (Yeah)

[Bridge]
I can hear you callin' to me (Yeah)
I can see you're fallin' for me (Yeah)

[Chorus]
Hold me, I can't breathe
I don't wanna die, I don't wanna OD
Cup full of lean, pure codeine
Ten lines deep, now I can't see
I don't wanna be this way for good
I don't wanna live the way I should
Born in the 'burbs, but I'm big in the hood
Tell me that I can't, but I know that I could

Lil Peep

Gustav Elijah Åhr (November 1, 1996 – November 15, 2017), better known by his stage name Lil Peep, was an American rapper and singer-songwriter from Long Beach, Long Island, New York.

Lil Peep’s music is known for its slow, melodic, and melancholy “emo” sound and its often loud and gruff voice. His lyrics include themes of suicide, addiction, abuse, and relationships. He is known as a pioneer of the “emo-rap” genre, which combines moody lyrics about depression, loneliness, and relationships with modern trap beats. Peep’s vocal style ranged from rapping, singing, and screaming. Peep’s biggest influences include Gucci Mane, Crystal Castles, and My Chemical Romance.

Peep himself was also known for his unique, somewhat flamboyant, fashion sense, and appearance. His hair was more often than not dyed bright pink, he often wore brightly colored, eccentric clothes. He had dozens of tattoos, including the word “DADDY” below his collarbone, the anarchy symbol on his cheek, and “Crybaby” above his right eyebrow.
