[Verse 1 : LL Cool J]
Looking at my rollie, it’s about that time
For me to paint pictures on the walls of your mind
These quality masterpieces are hard to find
Swap from 6 to 9 to stand online
I feel like an underdog coming from behind
Pressure bus fights, relax, you’ll be fine
Ll got the remedy intervention divine
I gave you the gift for missing me
It’s all bout design

[Hook : Joe & (LL Cool J)]
For your talking, (it’s a privilege to be mine)
For your loving, (i put it all on the line)
(All nights, you can come, all day, you can shop)
(Let the bells jingeling and let the champagne pop)
12 to 6 and 6 to 9, round the clock i’m riding high
Can you take it, (take it), take it, (take it), take it?
Let me love you babe, I won’t make you wait
Can you take it, (take it), take it, (take it), take it?

[Verse 2 : LL Cool J]
Ignore the clock, it’s time to make the bed rock
This hood, we don’t even hear the sirens or gun shots
I’m stroking you’re floating and what not
Skin sticky but no hickies, better knock
The tensions tie, i’m outside the box
I pin on your balloon without making it pop
It feels like new year’s but 2 balls drop
Almost at the top, now you begging me to stop

[Hook]

[Verse 3 : LL Cool J]
Take a ride, look down in my eyes
Flooded like my chain I can drown in your thighs
A little bit of pain brings joy to your life
Lay your head back, relax and get right
Souls unified beneath the moonlight
It’s only you and i, no other invites
I wanna see you naked, watch you take it
Come here… so are you

[Hook] x 2

LL Cool J

Deriving his name from the statement “Ladies Love Cool James,” LL Cool J became a superstar rapper after his Def Jam debut in 1984. He mixed a hardcore hip-hop style from songs like “I’m Bad” with R&B style on songs like “I Need Love,” which led him to multi-platinum success and several awards. He would later venture into movies and television, write several books, and start different business ventures.

Born January 14, 1968, Queens, New York native James Todd Smith began rapping at the age of nine and started to seriously pursue rapping when he was 16 years old after his grandfather bought him music equipment, which he used to create a demo tape that was sent to numerous labels. He was signed by upstart independent label Def Jam, working with founders Russell Simmons and Rick Rubin to release his debut single “I Need a Beat” in 1984, which sold over 100,000 copies. This success helped Def Jam secure a distribution deal with Columbia Records.

LL released his debut album Radio in 1985, which achieved platinum status with help from the hit singles “I Can’t Live Without My Radio” and “Rock the Bells.” After working exclusively with Rick Rubin on his debut, LL worked with the West Coast production crew L.A. Posse on his second album Bigger and Deffer, released in 1987. The album featured two of LL’s signature the hard-edged “I’m Bad” and the “rap ballad” “I Need Love,” which was a Top 20 pop hit, helping the album achieve double platinum status.
