[Verse 1]
Hey little girl, is your daddy home?
Did he go away and leave you all alone?
Oh I got a bad desire
Oh oh oh, I'm on fire

[Verse 2]
Tell me now, baby, is he good to you?
Does he do to you the things that I do?
Oh, I can take you higher
Oh oh oh, I'm on fire

[Chorus]
Sometimes it's like someone took a knife, baby, edgy and dull
And cut a six-inch valley through the middle of my skull/soul

[Verse 3]
At night I wake up with the sheets soaking wet
And a freight train running through the middle of my head
Only you can cool my desire
Oh oh oh, I'm on fire
Oh oh oh, I'm on fire
Oh oh oh, I'm on fire

Low

Low is a three-piece band from Duluth, Minnesota. They are often credited as pioneers of the “slowcore” genre, characterized by extremely slow tempos and sparse, deliberate arrangements.

The band’s core members, Alan Sparhawk (guitar) and Mimi Parker (drums) are husband and wife, and share in the bulk of the songwriting and singing. A revolving cast of bassists have filled out the lineup throughout the band’s career, the most recent being Steve Garrington, who joined in 2008.

In addition to Low, Sparhawk has a number of side projects of varying levels of activity, the most visible among them being Retribution Gospel Choir.
