[Intro]
*Coughing*
Damn
Aight, uh

[Verse 1]
Smokin' on this purple got my mind all hazy
But it never put my grind on lazy
I just wanna get my shine on, baby
I know it drive you crazy that my grind's on daily
'Cause I be gettin' blowed every day of the week
This haze got me so cheifed that I stay in my seat
You wanna get me to spit, just play me a beat
I strive to win in everything 'cause i hate the defeat
So I elevate my mind (Mind)
Gotta stay cheifin'
And I don't even rap, boy, this just the haze speakin' (Haha)
My room bangs and it got the rays tweakin'
Smokin' blunts of haze, i just watch the day leavin'
With L's around the circle, you can tell that this some purple
'Cause this dank is so potent, If you smell it, it'll hurt you
I smoke that fruity with the funkiest fumes: Pepi Le Pew
Got a little skunk in the room, now chill
Lay back, meditate (Meditate)
I'm floatin', feelin' lighter than a featherweight (Featherweight)
My body asleep, but my head awake
I dedicate the rest of my night to makin' hella cake (Haha)
Pardon the lingo, it's prolly this Cali
The addiction and the plague got me wantin' it badly
I chase money like a hard to get female
Then throw it back up in the water like a seashell

[Chorus: Sample & Mac Miller]
Sitting in the silent twilight
The purple half light of the twilight
Wrap the night around me (Hey, Jerm, where you find this weed at, man?)
Blanket of black on my back (Got the boy a blunt in here)
I feel safe in the darkness (Cheah, cheah)
(That purple, gotta love that purple)

[Verse 2]
I get blowed then melt into the chair
Blow a L up in the air, eyes is red, but I don't care (I don't care)
Right now I prolly shouldn't be spittin' (Nah)
'Cause I'm lifted and mixin' up my diction
I'm feelin' high like the top of a water tower
Cop a sour then it's gone in a hour
Heavily medicated, sedated and faded (Faded)
Relaxed, chasin' an oasis
I'm in a safe haven (Haven), free from any trouble
Stumble, damn, this kush got me seein' double (Damn)
Need not fumble
Gotta keep my head straight
'Cause I stay puttin' haters in the checkmate (Bitch)
Uh-huh, now I'm way past blowed
Purple weed got me feelin' on my own
Ain't nothin' like a purp high, the type to make a nerd high
It got me coughin' up a lung like it's my first time
Metaphors and similes from Ecuador to Italy
Back in fifth grade when I lost my weed virginity
Smokin' like a chimney, blowin' out a cloud
This purple, last kush stay stinkin' up my house

[Chorus: Sample & Mac Miller]
Sitting in the silent twilight (Man, I love when she sing like this, right? Go 'head, girl)
The purple half light of the twilight (With that purple, get high)
Wrap the night around me
Blanket of black on my back
I feel safe in the darkness (So, y'all can ash your blunts now, roll up another)
Blanket of black on my back (Ooh, I like that, Jerm)
I feel safe in the darkness

[Outro]
I'm out, I'm out, I'm out, haha

Mac Miller

Malcolm James McCormick (Jan. 19, 1992 – Sept. 7, 2018), who performed as Mac Miller, was an American rapper and producer from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Since releasing his first mixtape at just 15 years old, he became one of the leaders of the new school of young and highly talented “weirdos.”

Mac’s credibility in the rap game increased ten-fold and resulted in a slew of quality releases, including 2012’s Macadelic mixtape, his second studio album Watching Movies With The Sound Off, and his critically-acclaimed 2014 mixtape Faces.

He had multiple alter-egos, most notably his producer alias Larry Fisherman and his sick and twisted pitched-up persona (à la Quasimoto,) Delusional Thomas.
