[Intro]
Yeah
Mmm

[Verse 1]
You set the table, I set a date
They gettin' antsy, I tell 'em, "Wait"
First thing you do is you make the money, baby
Next thing you do is you make mistakes, yeah
They keep on tellin' me, "Take a break"
But I swing for the fences, don't play it safe
Yeah, all that I know is hundred percent
Unplug the connect, then to the check, straight to the bank (Woo)
And this is far from a gimmick
Do not waste my time, not a minute (Not a motherfuckin'—)
They run they mouth like a new kinda fitness
But the room quiet soon as I get in it, bitches

[Chorus]
Get up and climb, I know they
Keep hatin' on mine, but it's okay
Empires fall, I've seen it all
I've seen it all and you can't take it to the grave
You can't take it to the grave
What the fuck you tryna save? If it ain't yourself, then hey
One day, it just goes away
You can't take it to grave with ya, with ya, with ya
You can't take it to grave with ya, with ya, with ya

[Verse 2]
Yeah
They bein' careful, they all afraid
And so insecure, should be ashamed
I got 'em sweatin', you feel the heatwave
Without standin' next to an open flame
Look at the bullshit I overcame
Swear that I'm spoiled and overpaid
Straight to the head, right to the brain
Crazy as heck, take no offense, that's how I'm made, yeah
And all I wanna hear is crickets
Can I mind my motherfuckin' business? (My mo—, motherfuckin'—)
Well, if you gonna hate, then be specific
'Til the day I'm sleepin' with the fishes, I'ma be...

[Chorus]
Me, myself, and I, no, I won't change
I get up, get high like the old days
Empires fall, I've seen it all
I've seen it all and you can't take it to the grave
You can't take it to the grave
What the fuck you tryna save? If it ain't yourself, then hey
One day, it just goes away
You can't take it to grave with ya, with ya, with ya
You can't take it to grave with ya, with ya, with ya

Mac Miller

Malcolm James McCormick (Jan. 19, 1992 – Sept. 7, 2018), who performed as Mac Miller, was an American rapper and producer from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Since releasing his first mixtape at just 15 years old, he became one of the leaders of the new school of young and highly talented “weirdos.”

Mac’s credibility in the rap game increased ten-fold and resulted in a slew of quality releases, including 2012’s Macadelic mixtape, his second studio album Watching Movies With The Sound Off, and his critically-acclaimed 2014 mixtape Faces.

He had multiple alter-egos, most notably his producer alias Larry Fisherman and his sick and twisted pitched-up persona (à la Quasimoto,) Delusional Thomas.
