[Verse 1]
If you're lonely
And you feel you need a friend
And troubles seem like
They never end
Just remember
You got to keep the faith
And my love will be there
To lighten up the way, yeah

[Pre-Chorus]
Anytime you need me
Anytime you want me
Don't ever be lonely
It's alright
Anytime you need me
Anytime you want me
Don't ever be lonely
It's alright

Oh, oh yeah, be here
Never be lonely
Whoa, oh

Would you ever be lonely?
Would you ever be lonely?
Would you ever be lonely, lonely, lonely, lonely
Would you ever be lonely?
Would you ever be lonely?
Would you ever be lonely, lonely, lonely, lonely

[Verse 2]
And when the shadows are closing in
And you feel like your spirit's diminishing
Well, just remember wherever you're from
That you're never alone
And forever, the strength of my love will keep guiding you home

[Pre-Chorus]
Anytime you need me
Anytime you want me
Don't ever be lonely
It's alright
Anytime you need me
Anytime you want me
Don't ever be lonely
It's alright
Anytime you need me
Anytime you want me
Don't ever be lonely
It's alright
Anytime you need me
Anytime you want me
Don't ever be lonely
It's alright

[Chorus 2]
When you need a friend
I will be here
You're never alone
So don't you fear
Though you're miles away
I'm by your side
You're never alone
It's alright
When you need a friend
I will be here
You're never alone
So don't you fear
Though you're miles away (No matter where you are)
I'm by your side (I'm right by your side)
You're never alone (Never, never)
It's alright

[Break]
Anytime (Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah)
Ooh yeah
Anytime you need me
Anytime you want me
It's alright
Hey, oh, whoa
Anytime (No no no no no)
Oh baby
Wherever you are I'm right by your side
Don't you ever be lonely
It's alright

[Chorus]
Anytime you're alone
Anytime you're in need
When you're miles away
I'll be right by your side
When you're losing the way
Just hold on to your faith
I'll be right by your side
Anytime, anytime, anytime

Anytime (Anytime, anytime, anytime, anytime)
Anytime you need me
Anytime you want me
Anytime you want me

Mariah Carey

Mariah Carey (born March 27, 1970) is an American singer, songwriter, record producer, actress, and philanthropist.

Under the guidance of Columbia Records executive Tommy Mottola, Carey released her self-titled debut studio album Mariah Carey in 1990; it went multi-platinum and spawned four consecutive number one singles on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Following her marriage to Mottola in 1993 and success with hit records “Emotions” (1991), “Music Box” (1993), and “Merry Christmas” (1994), Carey was established as Columbia’s highest-selling act. Daydream (1995) made music history when its second single “One Sweet Day”, a duet with Boyz II Men, spent a record sixteen weeks on top of the Billboard Hot 100, and remains the longest-running number-one song in U.S. chart history, along with Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee’s “Despacito.” During the recording of the album, Carey began to deviate from her R&B and pop beginnings and slowly traversed into hip hop. This musical change became evident with the release of Butterfly (1997), at which time Carey had separated from Mottola.
