[Intro: Mariah Carey & Jermaine Dupri]
Ooh, ooh
Ooh, ooh
Ooh, ooh
Everybody just
Everybody just bounce, bounce
Check it out
Ooh, ooh
Ooh, ooh
Ooh, ooh
Everybody just
Everybody just bounce, bounce

[Chorus: Mariah Carey]
(I gotta shake you off)
'Cause the loving ain't the same and you keep on playing games
Like you know I'm here to stay
(I gotta shake, shake you off)
Just like the Calgon commercial, I
Really gotta get up outta here
And go somewhere
(I gotta shake you off)
Gotta make that move
Find somebody who
Appreciates all the love I give
Boy, I gotta (Shake, shake you off)
Gotta do what's best for me
Baby, and that means I gotta
(Shake you off)

[Verse 1: Mariah Carey]
By the time you get this message, it's gonna be too late
So don't bother paging me 'cause I'll be on my way
See, I grabbed all my diamonds and clothes
Just ask your momma she knows
You're gonna miss me, baby
Hate to say I told you so
Well, at first I didn't know, but now it's clear to me
You would cheat with all your freaks and lie compulsively
So I packed up my Louis Vuitton
Jumped in your ride and took off
You'll never ever find a girl who loves you more than me

[Chorus: Mariah Carey]
(I gotta shake you off)
'Cause the loving ain't the same and you keep on playing games
Like you know I'm here to stay
(I gotta shake, shake you off)
Just like the Calgon commercial, I
Really gotta get up outta here
And go somewhere
(I gotta shake you off)
Gotta make that move
Find somebody who
Appreciates all the love I give
Boy, I gotta (I gotta shake, shake you off)
Gotta do what's best for me
Baby, and that means I gotta
(Shake you off)

[Post-Chorus: Mariah Carey & Jermaine Dupri]
Watch this
(I gotta) Shake, shake, shake, shake, shake it off
Shake, shake, shake, shake, shake it off
(I'm gonna shake it off)
What it look like
Shake, shake, shake, shake, shake it off
Shake, shake, shake, shake, shake it off

[Verse 2: Mariah Carey]
I found out about a gang of your dirty little deeds
With this one and that one by the pool
On the beach, in the streets
Heard y'all was
Hold up, my phone's breakin' up
I'mma hang up and call the machine right back
I gotta get this off of my mind
You wasn't worth my time
So I'm leaving you behind
Yeah, 'cause I need a real love in my life
Save this recording because
I'm never coming back home
Baby, I'm gone, don't ya know?

[Chorus: Mariah Carey]
(I gotta shake you off)
'Cause the loving ain't the same and you keep on playing games
Like you know I'm here to stay
(I gotta shake, shake you off)
Just like the Calgon commercial, I
Really gotta get up outta here
And go somewhere
(I gotta shake you off)
Gotta make that move
Find somebody who
Appreciates all the love I give
Boy, I gotta (Shake, shake you off)
Gotta do what's best for me
Baby, and that means I gotta
(Shake you off)

[Post-Chorus: Mariah Carey & Jermaine Dupri]
Watch this
(I gotta) Shake, shake, shake, shake, shake it off
Shake, shake, shake, shake, shake it off
(I'm gonna shake it off)
Shake, shake, shake, shake, shake it off
Shake, shake, shake, shake, shake it off

[Chorus: Mariah Carey & Jermaine Dupri]
I just gotta shake you off
'Cause the loving ain't the same and you keep on playing games
Like you know I'm here to stay
(You know I gotta)
(I gotta shake, shake you off)
Just like the Calgon commercial
I really gotta get up outta here
And go somewhere (I really gotta go somewhere)
(I gotta shake you off)
Gotta make that move
Find somebody who
Appreciates all the love I give (I like that, y'all)
I gotta shake, shake it off
Gotta do what's best for me
Baby, and that means I gotta
Shake you off (Shake you off)
I gotta shake you off (Ooh, ooh, ooh)
(Everybody just, everybody just bounce, bounce)
I gotta shake, shake you off (Ooh, ooh, ooh)
(Everybody just, everybody just bounce, bounce)
I gotta shake you off

Mariah Carey

Mariah Carey (born March 27, 1970) is an American singer, songwriter, record producer, actress, and philanthropist.

Under the guidance of Columbia Records executive Tommy Mottola, Carey released her self-titled debut studio album Mariah Carey in 1990; it went multi-platinum and spawned four consecutive number one singles on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Following her marriage to Mottola in 1993 and success with hit records “Emotions” (1991), “Music Box” (1993), and “Merry Christmas” (1994), Carey was established as Columbia’s highest-selling act. Daydream (1995) made music history when its second single “One Sweet Day”, a duet with Boyz II Men, spent a record sixteen weeks on top of the Billboard Hot 100, and remains the longest-running number-one song in U.S. chart history, along with Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee’s “Despacito.” During the recording of the album, Carey began to deviate from her R&B and pop beginnings and slowly traversed into hip hop. This musical change became evident with the release of Butterfly (1997), at which time Carey had separated from Mottola.
