[Intro]
Get behind me
Get behind me
Get behind me, Satan
Get behind me
Get behind me
Get behind me, Satan

[Verse 1]
So you wear your damage on your sleeve
But don't worry
It's all just tongue and cheek, yeah
Not a victim of fashion
More fascist than vogue
'Cause victim is chic
You're as famous as your pain
Victim is chic, yeah

[Chorus]
If you conjure the devil
You better make sure
You got a bed for him to sleep in
If you conjure the devil
You better make sure
You got a bed for him to sleep in

[Verse 2]
Buckshot, glitter perfume
Is something you never want to wear
In your hair will be brains
And this shit won't be the same

[Pre-Chorus]
Get behind me
Get behind me
Get behind me, Satan (And this shit won't be the same)

[Chorus]
If you conjure the devil
You better make sure
You got a bed for him to sleep in
If you conjure the devil
You better make sure
You got a bed for him to sleep in

[Pre-Chorus]
Get behind me
Get behind me
Get behind me, Satan

[Bridge]
Am I Superman?
Am I superstitious?
Am I Superman?
Am I superstitious?
Am I Superman?
Am I superstitious?
Am I Superman?
Am I superstitious?

[Outro]
Get behind me
Get behind me
Get behind me, Satan

Marilyn Manson

Brian Hugh Warner who is better known under his stage name of Marilyn Manson is a musician, painter, actor, multimedia artist, and former music journalist. His stage name is a combination of the names of two American icons, actress Marilyn Monroe and multiple murder conspiracy convict Charles Manson.

I picked that (Marilyn Manson) as the fakest stage name of all to say that this is what show business is, fake. Marilyn Monroe wasn’t even her real name, Charles Manson isn’t his real name, and now, I’m taking that to be my real name. But what’s real? You can’t find the truth, you just pick the lie you like the best. As long as you know everything’s a lie, you can’t hurt yourself.
