Marlo

Marlo (May 1, 1990 – July 11, 2020) was an Atlanta-based rapper previously signed to Quality Control. Prior to becoming a rapper he made a living selling crack cocaine in the 9th ward, located in western Atlanta. Here he grew up with his partner in crime, close friend, and fellow QC signee, Lil Baby. The two remain close, and collaborated on their project “2 The Hard Way.”

Marlo’s debut mixtape, “The Wire”, dropped on November 7, 2017. Later that year he appeared on “Quality Control The Streets Volume 1.

On July 11, 2020, Marlo was shot and killed while driving on I-285 in Atlanta in a targeted shooting. He was 30 at the time of his death.
