[Spoken Intro]
You know when you
Finally find that person that
Makes you feel like you're really alive
Like you're somebody, like you mean something to the world

Feels so good to be loved
Yes it does
Ooh, ooh

[Verse 1]
Feels so good to see
You right here with me
Safe is what I feel when you're around
Strong but sensitive
When you're touching me
The simple things from you is what I need

[Chorus]
You will always be a special part of me
(Boy, you'll always be a special part of me)
Boy, you make me feel like someone does love me
(Make me feel like I'm alive) I'm in love
No one ever gave me what you give to me
(Nobody ever paid attention to me, baby)
You turned a little girl into the woman I should be
I'm in love

[Verse 2]
Boy, you really turn me on
Even when something's wrong
Is there anything that I can do for you, baby
I just wanna comfort you
There's nothing I'd rather do
You make me feel so good I wanna cry
All the time

[Chorus]
You will always be a special part of me
(You will always be, yeah, baby)
Boy, you make me feel like someone does love me
(You make me feel like I'm alive, baby) I'm in love
No one ever gave me what you give to me
(Nobody ever made me feel like I was pretty, boy)
You turned a little girl into the woman I should be
I'm in love

[Bridge]
Oh baby, hold me
(Baby hold me)
Don't let go of me
(Don't let go of me baby, baby, yeah)
Baby, hold me
(Boy, you better hold me)
Don't let go of me
(Don't let go, oh)
Baby hold me
Don't let go of me
(Don't let go, don't let go)
Baby hold me
(Oh, baby, hold me)
Don't let go of me
(Don't let go, you)

[Chorus]
You will always be a special part of me
(You'll always be, you'll always be, oh)
Boy, you make me feel like someone does love me
(You wiped all my tears away, yeah) I'm in love
No one ever gave me what you give to me
(Nobody ever gave me, gave me real love, boy)
You turned a little girl into the woman I should be
I'm in love

Mary J. Blige

Mary Jane Blige (b. Jan 11 1971) grew up in the projects of Yonkers, New York. A random decision to record a cover of “Caught Up in the Rapture” by Anita Baker in a pop-up recording booth at a mall led MJB to getting signed by Uptown Entertainment. After providing background vocals on Father MC’s hit single “I’ll Do 4 U” in 1990, a young intern at Uptown named Sean “Puffy” Combs ended up executive producing Mary’s 1992 debut album What’s The 411?. Fusing hip-hop beats with Mary’s soulful voice earned her the nickname “Queen of Hip-Hop Soul”.

She followed up her debut with a string of critically acclaimed albums, including 1994’s My Life and 1997’s Share My World, as well as hit singles such as “Not Gon' Cry,” “Family Affair,” “Be Without You,” and “Just Fine.”

She also collaborated with rappers on a number of tracks, including Jay-Z’s “Can’t Knock the Hustle,” Ghostface Killah’s “All That I Got is You,” Wyclef’s “911,” Common’s “Come Close,” and Method Man’s “I’ll Be There for You/All I Need to Get By,” which was a platinum hit and won the two of them a Grammy Award in 1996 for Best Rap Performance By a Duo or Group.
