[Intro]
Baby, ooh baby
When we

[Verse 1]
I gotta man to love me down all night
I just hate it when we fuss and fight
Sometimes it's hard for us to get along
But I miss him when he's not home
Nobody ever finds the perfect man
But I'm a make the best with what I have
Reminiscing on when we touch
Boy, we make good love

[Chorus]
When we (When we)
When we (Oh, when we, baby)
When we (When we, when we)
When we make good love
When we (When we)
When we (when we)
When we (Oh, when we, baby)
When we make good love

[Verse 2]
We've been together for three long years
But I know I've cried meany tears
Over something that I can't control
But I love him with all my soul
Nobody ever made me feel this way
We're gonna make it through the good and bad days
I know you'll always choose what's best for us
'Cause we make good love...

[Chorus]
When we (When we)
When we (Oh, when we, baby)
When we (Oh, when we)
When we make good love
When we (When, when, when, when, when we)
When we (When we)
When we (Oh, when we, baby)
When we make good love

[Bridge]
Boy, you make me realize
That you're that special one in my life
You're my soulmate sent to me
And ain't nobody gonna be
As good to you as I can be
I will love you faithfully
'Cause our love was meant to be
'Cause we make good love

[Chorus]
When we (When we)
When we (Oh, when we, when we, baby)
When we (When we make good love, good love, good love)
When we make good love

[Bridge over Chorus]
Boy, you make me realize
You're that special one in my life
You're my soulmate sent for me
And ain't no, ain't nobody gonna be
Be as good to you as I can be
Hey hey hey hey, ooh ooh ooh

When we, when we, we make good love, good love
Oh, when we, when we, we make good love, good love
When we, when we, we make good love, good love
Oh, when we, when we, we make good love, good love

[Chorus]
When we
When we
When we
When we make good love
When we (When we)
When we (when we)
When we (Ooh, when we, baby)
When we make good love
(When we make good love)
When we
When we (Ooh, when we, baby)
When we (Oh, when we, baby)
When we make good love

Mary J. Blige

Mary Jane Blige (b. Jan 11 1971) grew up in the projects of Yonkers, New York. A random decision to record a cover of “Caught Up in the Rapture” by Anita Baker in a pop-up recording booth at a mall led MJB to getting signed by Uptown Entertainment. After providing background vocals on Father MC’s hit single “I’ll Do 4 U” in 1990, a young intern at Uptown named Sean “Puffy” Combs ended up executive producing Mary’s 1992 debut album What’s The 411?. Fusing hip-hop beats with Mary’s soulful voice earned her the nickname “Queen of Hip-Hop Soul”.

She followed up her debut with a string of critically acclaimed albums, including 1994’s My Life and 1997’s Share My World, as well as hit singles such as “Not Gon' Cry,” “Family Affair,” “Be Without You,” and “Just Fine.”

She also collaborated with rappers on a number of tracks, including Jay-Z’s “Can’t Knock the Hustle,” Ghostface Killah’s “All That I Got is You,” Wyclef’s “911,” Common’s “Come Close,” and Method Man’s “I’ll Be There for You/All I Need to Get By,” which was a platinum hit and won the two of them a Grammy Award in 1996 for Best Rap Performance By a Duo or Group.
