[Intro]
Baby, don't go
Baby, don't go
Baby, don't go

[Chorus: Mary J. Blige]
Don't leave me, leave me, leave me
Don't go, don't go
(Don't go)
Don't leave me, leave me, leave me
I love you so
Don't leave me, leave me, leave me
Don't go, don't go
Don't leave me, leave me, leave me
I love you so

[Verse 1: Mary J. Blige]
I've been hurt before, stayed around for a while
Let's work it out
Let's try to make it happen
Don't do the things that other guys did to hurt me
They made me cry
Break my heart, oh why?

[Pre-Chorus: Mary J. Blige]
I know you're a busy man
But you don't understand
How it feels to be alone
When times get hard and
I want to feel your
Sweet and tender touch
That's all I'm asking, baby
'Cause I never asked for much
Oh, ohhh

[Chorus: Mary J. Blige]
Don't leave me, leave me, leave me
Don't go, don't go (No)
Don't leave me, leave me, leave me
I love you so (I love you so)
Don't leave me, leave me, leave me
Don't go, don't go
Don't leave me, leave me, leave me
I love you so

[Verse 2: Mary J. Blige]
This may be a fantasy
That I dream of, baby
Time and time again
I knew that we would be more than friends
I gave you my heart
And all of my time
But now you're actin' shady
Is it all in my mind?

[Pre-Chorus: Mary J. Blige]
I know you're a busy man
Ay, but you don't understand
How it feels to be alone
When times get hard and
I want to feel your
Sweet and tender touch
That's all I'm asking baby
'Cause I never asked for much
Oh, ohhh

[Chorus: Mary J. Blige]
Don't leave me, leave me, leave me
Don't go, don't go
Don't leave me, leave me, leave me
I love you so
(Don't leave me, don't leave me, don't leave me, don't leave)
Don't leave me, leave me, leave me
(Don't leave me)
Don't go, don't go
(Don't you ever go nowhere)
Don't leave me, leave me, leave me
I love you so

[Bridge: Mary J. Blige]
Don't leave, don't leave
Don't leave me alone
I wanna be with you
Oh, oh, oh, mmm, yeah oh oh oh
I wanna be with you
Yes I do, yes I do

[Outro: Mary J. Blige & Faith Evans]
You've got my heart, boy (You've got my heart)
You are the only one (Oh, you're the only one)
If I can't be with you (If I can't be)
I don't know what to do (I don't know what to do)
You've got my heart, boy (You've got my heart)
You are the only one (You're the only one)
If I can't be with you (Oh no no)
I don't know what to do
You've got my heart
You've got my heart
You've got my heart
You've got my heart
I wanna be, your everything, oh

Mary J. Blige

Mary Jane Blige (b. Jan 11 1971) grew up in the projects of Yonkers, New York. A random decision to record a cover of “Caught Up in the Rapture” by Anita Baker in a pop-up recording booth at a mall led MJB to getting signed by Uptown Entertainment. After providing background vocals on Father MC’s hit single “I’ll Do 4 U” in 1990, a young intern at Uptown named Sean “Puffy” Combs ended up executive producing Mary’s 1992 debut album What’s The 411?. Fusing hip-hop beats with Mary’s soulful voice earned her the nickname “Queen of Hip-Hop Soul”.

She followed up her debut with a string of critically acclaimed albums, including 1994’s My Life and 1997’s Share My World, as well as hit singles such as “Not Gon' Cry,” “Family Affair,” “Be Without You,” and “Just Fine.”

She also collaborated with rappers on a number of tracks, including Jay-Z’s “Can’t Knock the Hustle,” Ghostface Killah’s “All That I Got is You,” Wyclef’s “911,” Common’s “Come Close,” and Method Man’s “I’ll Be There for You/All I Need to Get By,” which was a platinum hit and won the two of them a Grammy Award in 1996 for Best Rap Performance By a Duo or Group.
