[Intro]
Now I wanna talk to you for a minute
I know [?] a lot a changes out there today
I know you've been trying to hold on to that woman that you have
I know it gets tough man [?]
I’m not saying [?]
But I can't say this about myself
I know my thrill is gone

[Verse 1]
I was floored by the look that comes from your eyes
Thrilled by the [?] that we both realized
In our hearts was real, in our minds is true
It's a devastating chemistry between me and you
It’s like Coca-Cola, girl, it's the real thing
I was stuck to you, like Tyson to the ring
But your hook was too mighty, your jab I couldn't take
My knees were getting weak and I knew my fate

[Chorus]
Lost in a love I felt was so strong
And then you diss me, the thrill is gone
(It's gone, girl
It's gone, girl
It's all over, baby)

[Verse 2]
Now I know the thrill is gone that I had long ago
When I rolled up and showed up everywhere that you'd go
Like a movie [?] because you was there
You fell into my arms and I knew that you cared
Nevermind the movie was just a cartoon
Satisfaction and attraction, that was our tune
[?] I felt whenever you were near me (Word)
[?] and then it scared me
You played with my heart like a kid on a coaster
And now it's over, I got to roast ya

[Chorus]
Love can be sweet and also strong
But when it comes down to you, hey girl, the thrill is gone
(It’s gone, girl
It’s gone, girl
It's over, baby
It’s all over, baby)

[Interlude]
Every time you come around you got your hand out
I can't go to the store [?] you want some too?

[Verse 3]
Now you see, the thrill is gone [?] guy
Who would hold and squeeze you when you would cry
For attention, not to mention, the love that we treasured
You did it, now admit it it was pleasure
Tossed to and fro like a ball that you throw
When you enter all the boys yell "Ho!"
The place is not rocking, but you get rocked
The boys aren't screaming but you're screaming "Don’t stop"
From a little old bed in the back of the room
The boys don't know it but the boys are doomed

[Chorus]
Lost in a love I felt was so strong
And now it's over, baby, and the thrill is gone
(It's gone, girl
It's all over, baby
You got to go, girl
We can't take it no more)

[Verse 4]
Welfare queen, baby, that is your handle
Running for the queen of the neighborhood scandal
Built like [?] they call on you
And then you spit it when you're finished, girl, that's your [?]
I'd have to go on and on about you
Your [?]
Everybody gets a hit like a [?] gets a turn
[?] and you burn me up
When I think about our love
A girl like you who I thought was from above

[Chorus]
Lost in a love I felt was so strong
And now it's over, baby, and the thrill is gone
(It's all over, baby
Here's to us
We can't take it no more)

[Outro]
[?]
They say love is for suckers like me, yeah, but I done wised up, so I'mma get up
(Word)
(Word)
You know what time it is
Yo, MC Hammer in effect, roll with the posse
[?]
You got it like that
Oh here we go, here we go
[?]
I thought you knew that
[?]
Yeah, it's all right there, yeah, right there
[?]
Hey yo, I thought you was mixing, what you doing?

The thrill is gone (It's gone)
It's gone (it's gone)

She was running, cold [?]
Hiding, cold trying
[?]
You chasing and basing
[?]
That stuff that you smoking, homeboy [?]
The thrill is gone [?] I would hold you and [?] and tell you
[?]

MC Hammer

Stanley Kirk Burrell (born 30 March 1962), better known by his stage name MC Hammer, is an American rapper, dancer, entrepreneur, spokesman and occasional actor from Oakland, California. He had his greatest commercial success and popularity from the late 1980s until the late 1990s. Remembered for his rapid rise to fame, Hammer is known for his hit records (such as “U Can’t Touch This” and “2 Legit 2 Quit”), flashy dance movements, choreography and his trademark Hammer pants. Hammer’s superstar-status and entertaining showmanship made him a household name and Hip-Hop icon. He has sold more than fifty million records worldwide.

A multi-award winner, MC Hammer is considered a pioneer and innovator of pop rap, and is the first Hip-Hop artist to achieve diamond status for an album. Hammer was later considered a sellout due in part to overexposure as an entertainer, and as a result of being too “commercial” when Rap was “hardcore”, then his image later becoming increasingly “gritty” to once again adapt to the ever-changing landscape of rap. Burrell became a preacher during the late 1990s with a Christian ministry program called MC Hammer and Friends. Additionally, he starred in a Saturday morning cartoon called Hammerman in 1991 and was executive producer of his own reality show called Hammertime which aired during the summer of 2009. Prior to becoming ordained, Hammer signed to Suge Knight’s Death Row Records in 1995.

Throughout his career, Hammer has managed his own recording business. As a result, he has created and produced his own acts including Oaktown’s 3.5.7, Common Unity, Special Generation, Analise, One Cause One Effect, Teabag, Dom Kimberley, Geeman, DRS, Pleasure Ellis, B Angie B, Stooge Playaz, Ho Frat Hoo! and Wee Wee, among others. A part of additional record labels, he has collaborated and has been associated with 2Pac, Teddy Riley, Felton Pilate, Tha Dogg Pound, The Whole 9, Deion Sanders, and Big Daddy Kane, as well as others.
