[Intro]
From the South, I got the diamonds in my mouth
From the—, from the South, I got the diamonds in my mouth
From the South, I got the diamonds in my mouth
From the—, from the South, I got the diamonds in my mouth

[Verse 1]
I hit your phone but you ain't hit me back (Back)
I hit my other nigga and he hit me right back (Right back)
Send a pic from the back 'cause that's my good side
Now he say he coming over so don't be surprised when I dip off
Let another nigga know my lips soft
Chuck a damn deuce then I lift off like a damn ship
I don't trip over niggas, I'm a muhfuckin' pimp (I'm a muhfuckin' pimp)
But don't act like— (Like)
Like you ain't really tryna keep me nigga (Keep me nigga)
Like you ain't really tryna see me nigga
Like it ain't a bunch of niggas tryna be my nigga (Shit)
I'm a college girl and my booty big
I'm from the South with no kids
Now who the hell else you seein' yourself with? (Who?)
Nigga, you know you like this shit

[Chorus]
From the South, I got the diamonds in my mouth
From the—, from the South, I got the diamonds in my mouth
From the South, I got the diamonds in my mouth
From the—, from the South, I got the diamonds in my mouth

[Verse 2]
I got pearly whites in my grill (In my grill)
I ain't got a lotta diamonds but I got this here (But I got this here)
Man, I love me a nigga with a all gold grill
Pull up on me in the slab, puttin' flavor in my ear (Yeah)
But maybe that's just a Southside thing (Southside thing)
Like a styrofoam cup or a pinky ring
Bumpin' Pimp C, blowin' weed, switchin' lanes
Man, them Northside niggas love my Southside slang (Southside slang)
I pull up then I hop out (Hop out), just so I could I show out
With my skin lookin' like Hennessy (Hennessy)
I'm with my cousins who ain't kin to me
I tell a bitch nigga, "Get back
Hold up, be cool, don't run up on me like I know you"
Talk to me quick, don't talk to me slick
To them hoes in my business, don't worry 'bout me, bitch

[Chorus]
From the South, I got the diamonds in my mouth
From the—, from the South, I got the diamonds in my mouth
From the South, I got the diamonds in my mouth
From the—, from the South, I got the diamonds in my mouth

[Verse 3]
What's up in my cup? Got me fucked up, comin' home on a Sunday
Remember Hollywood, used to have me in the hood
Goin' out there to screwed up records and tapes (Records and tapes)
It ain't hot if it ain't chopped (Ain't chopped)
And the shit ain't cool if the shit ain't screwed
And the shit gon' flop if it can't make the trunk pop
Or the doors knock like the cops at the trap spot (Trap spot)
I'm in love with a dope boy (With a dope boy)
Sting you with that burner and that bitch ain't gon' make no noise (No noise)
Southside broads actin' bad on they ass (On they ass)
"How Megan always show up and show out?"
I smile like I got a bunch of diamonds in my mouth
Real niggas ain't dead, they just live in the south

[Chorus]
From the South, I got the diamonds in my mouth
From the—, from the South, I got the diamonds in my mouth
From the South, I got the diamonds in my mouth
From the—, from the South, I got the diamonds in my mouth

Megan Thee Stallion

Megan Jovon Ruth Pete (b. February 15, 1995), best known by her stage name Megan Thee Stallion, and also known by her alter-ego names Tina Snow and Hot Girl Meg is both a rapper and a college student studying health administration from Houston, Texas.

Meg grew up the daughter of rapper Holly-Wood (Holly Thomas), and listened to Southern rap staples like Three 6 Mafia and UGK from an early age. By 14 years old, this had largely inspired her to start writing her own raps, and she then went on to establish her presence around the Houston rap circuit by battling and beating opponents in local freestyle competitions.

In the sexually explicit yet empowering lyrics combined with effortless flows have become Megan’s signature sound—as she strives to emulate her favorite parts of her male rapper influences (such as Pimp C and Biggie Smalls) but in a female version.
