[Verse 1]
All night
I stay up all night on my phone
Watchin' dumb shit
'Til three o'clock in the morning

[Pre-Chorus]
And lately, I've been lazy
I've been drownin' in my head
With these thoughts makin' me crazy
I'd rather dance instead
I can't be the only one
So if you get lonely, just

[Chorus]
Dance
I dropped this shit to make you, make you dance
Don't act like you ain't makin' any plans
Imagine, baby, it's your only chance, yeah
I dropped this shit to make you, make you

[Post-Chorus]
I dropped this shit to make you, make you
(I dropped this shit to make you, make you)
I dropped this shit to make you, make you

[Verse 2]
Dressed up
Got all dressed up for no one
Got my rosé
I've been drinkin' since one

[Pre-Chorus]
'Cause lately, I've been lazy
I've been drownin' in my head
With these thoughts makin' me crazy
I'd rather dance instead
But I can't be the only one
So if you get lonely, just

[Chorus]
Dance
I dropped this shit to make you, make you dance
Don't act like you ain't makin' any plans
Imagine, baby, it's your only chance, yeah
I dropped this shit to make you, make you

[Post-Chorus]
I dropped this shit to make you, make you
(I dropped this shit to make you, make you)
I dropped this shit to make you, make you

[Bridge]
To make you dance
To make you dance, ah
I can't be the only one
So if you feel lonely, just

[Chorus]
Dance
I dropped this shit to make you, make you dance
Don't act like you ain't makin' any plans
Imagine, baby, it’s your only chance, yeah
I dropped this shit (Oh) to make you, make you

[Post-Chorus]
I dropped this shit to make you, make you
(I dropped this shit to make you, make you)
I dropped this shit to make you, make you

Meghan Trainor

Meghan Trainor is a pop singer-songwriter from Nantucket. Before launching her solo career, she wrote songs for the likes of Sia and Sabrina Carpenter. She entered pop stardom with the controversial but danceable body-positivity anthem “All About That Bass,” which led her 2015 debut LP, Title.

In 2016, Meghan released her sophomore effort Thank You, which was preceded by the smash single “NO.” Peaking at #3 on the Hot 100, top 20 track “Me Too” & the reggae-influenced “Better” supported the release of the album.

Staying reasonably quiet in 2017, Trainor dropped the single “I’m A Lady” for the “The The Lost Village.” Trainor underwent vocal surgery during the year and needed time to rest her voice before returning to the limelight.
