[Intro]
[riff from "Back In Black"]

Okay, man
You guys ready?
Ready as I'll ever be

[Last Caress]
I got somethin' to say, I killed a baby today
And it doesn't matter much to me as long as it's dead
I got somethin' to say, I raped your mother today
And it doesn't matter much to me as long as she spread

Sweet lovely death, just waitin' for your breath
Come, sweet death, one last caress

Yeah!

Oh yeah!
Sweet lovely death, just waitin' for your breath
Come, sweet death, one last caress

I got somethin' to say, I killed a baby today
It doesn't matter much to me as long as it's dead
Sweet lovely death, just waitin' for your breath
Come, sweet death
One last caress
Last caress today
Oh oh
Oh
Oh Oh

[Am I Evil?]
[Instrumental Intro]

My mother was a witch
She was burned alive
Thankless little bitch
For the tears I cried

Ooo!
Take her down now, don't want to see her fuckin' face
Blistered and burned, can't hide my disgrace

Twenty-seven, everyone was nice
Got to see them, make them pay that price
See their bodies out on the ice
Take my time

Come on!
Am I evil? Yes I am
Yeah, sing it, man!
[Lets audience sing lyric]
Oh - yes I am
Ha ha ha

As I watched my mother die, I lost my head
Revenge now I sought to break with my bread
Taking no chances, you come with me
I'll split you to the bone, help set you free

Twenty-seven, everyone was nice
Got to see them, make them pay that price
See their bodies out on the ice
Take my time

Am I evil? Yes I am
Come on yeah yeah

Yes I am
Oo - you betcha, man!

[Battery]
Hey there!
Yow!
Yeah![?]
[Instrumental Intro]

Lashing out the action, returning the reaction
Weak are ripped and torn away
Hypnotizing power, crushing all that cower
Battery is here to stay

Smashing through the boundaries, lunacy has found me
Cannot stop the battery
Pounding out aggression, turn into obsession
Cannot kill the battery
Cannot kill the family, battery is found in me
Battery
Battery

[Short Guitar Solo]

[Verse 2]
Crushing all deceivers, mashing non-believers
Never-ending potency
Hungry violence-seeker, feeding off the weaker
Breeding on insanity

[Chorus]
Smashing through the boundaries, lunacy has found me
Cannot stop the battery
Pounding out aggression, turn into obsession
Cannot kill the battery
Cannot kill the family, battery is found in me
Battery
Ooo - Battery

Heeeeyy!
[Guitar Solo]

Circle of destruction, hammer comes crushing
Powerhouse of energy
Whipping up a fury, dominating flurry
We create the battery

Smashing through the boundaries, lunacy has found me
Cannot stop the battery
Pounding out aggression, turn into obsession
Cannot kill the battery
Cannot kill the family, battery is found in me
Battery
Battery
Battery
Battery

Hey!

Oooh!

Thank you very much, Moscow
We'll see you some time soon, I hope
Yeah!
Thank you! For you, man, very good!
We'll see you around! Thank you!

Metallica

Like Black Sabbath and Iron Maiden before, Metallica has managed to transcend the genre from which it was originated. To their metal fanbase they are considered one of the Big Four bands of thrash metal, alongside Megadeth, Anthrax and Slayer; however Metallica is also one of the most commercially successful bands in all of rock music, having sold 110 million records including the 16x platinum Metallica, which stands as both the highest selling metal album of all time and most successful album of the past 25 years.

Metallica was formed in 1981 in Los Angeles after drummer Lars Ulrich placed an advert in the classifieds newspaper The Recycler, which was answered by singer/rhythm guitarist James Hetfield. They were soon joined by lead guitarist Dave Mustaine, who later formed Megadeth after being kicked out of the band because of his substance and alchohol abuse, and bassist Ron McGovney, a childhood friend of Hetfield. These two early members were replaced with Cliff Burton (who relocated the band to San Francisco) and ex-Exodus lead guitarist, Kirk Hammett to form the band’s classic line-up.

The band released three albums, 1983’s Kill ‘Em All, 1984’s Ride The Lightning and 1986’s Master of Puppets before the tragic and untimely death of Cliff Burton on September 27th, 1986.
