Ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah
Ooh-huh

Ooh, my honey
You got me workin' day and night, ah
Ooh, my sugar
You got me workin' day and night, ah
Scratch my shoulder
It's aching, make it feel alright, ah, ah
When this is over
Lovin' you will be so right, ah, ah
I often wonder if lovin' you will be tonight
But what is love, girl
If I'm always out of sight, woo

[Pre-Chorus]
(That's why) You got me workin' day and night
And I'll be workin'
From sun up to midnight

[Chorus]
You got me workin', workin' day and night (Hold on, baby)
You got me workin', workin' day and night (I'm so tired)
You got me workin', workin' day and night (Hold on, mama)
You got me workin', workin' day and night (Ooh-huh)

[Verse 2]
You say that workin'
Is what a man's supposed to do, ah, ah
I say it ain't right
If I can't give sweet love to you, well
I'm tired of thinkin'
Of what my life's supposed to be, ah, well, ah
Soon enough darlin'
This love will be reality, well
How can you live, girl
'Cause love for us was meant to be
Then you must be seein', woo
Some other guy instead of me, woo

[Pre-Chorus]
(That's why) You got me workin' day and night
And I'll be workin'
From sun up to midnightv (Woo-hoo)

[Chorus]
You got me workin', workin' day and night (Hold on, baby)

Michael Jackson

Michael Jackson was born on August 29, 1958, in Gary, Indiana. Jackson began his career when he was seven years old as the lead singer of the Jackson 5, breaking into stardom in 1969 after signing into Motown. The Jackson 5’s first four singles all peaked at number one on the Billboard 100, and soon after Michael pursued a solo career.

His breakthrough fifth album, 1979’s Off The Wall produced four top ten hits (including “Don’t Stop ‘Til You Get Enough”) and sold 20 million copies, establishing him as a household name. The album was followed with 1982’s Thriller, which became the best selling album of all time, and was the first album to feature seven top 10 singles, including “Billie Jean” and “Beat It.”

In 1985, Michael contributed to the collaboration single “We Are The World”, which remains one of the best-selling singles of all time and raised nearly $65 million for famine relief.
