[What we’re gonna do, is we’re gonna turn all these lights, as bright as we can get them, so we can look at all of ya
(?) Fuckin’ (?) lights on and shit, this is how you do it
And we’re gonna play an old jam, it’s good for kickin’ the shit out of each other too
It’s called Our Lady of Sorrows.]

Yeah!

We could be perfect one last night
And die like star-crossed lovers when we fight
And we could settle this affair
If you would shed your yellow and take my hand
And then we’ll solve the mystery of laceration gravity
This riddle of revenge, please understand it has to be this way

Stand up fucking tall and don’t let them see your back
And take my fucking hand and never be afraid-

We’ve only got one chance to put this to an end
And cross the patron saint of switchblade fights
You said we’re not celebrities
We- , they die by threes
I’ll make you understand, and you can trade ... apparition

Stand up fucking tall and don’t let them see your back
And take my fucking hand and never –

Trust, you said, who put the words in your head?
Oh, how wrong we were to think that immortality meant never dying

Stand! Take my fucking…
C’mon, you motherfucker!
Take my fucking!
Stand up fucking tall and don’t let them see your back
And take my fucking hand and never be afraid again!

Just because my …. throat!

My Chemical Romance

My Chemical Romance is an alt/punk/hardcore rock band that produced four studio albums and a compilation album over their initial twelve-year lifespan from 2001-2013. They then went on a six-year hiatus, until Halloween of 2019, when they announced a long-awaited revival of the band. They have touched the hearts of millions through their honest, raw lyrics and inspirational stories.

The band started after front-man and founder Gerard Way witnessed the 9/11 terror attacks in New York City. He felt compelled to empower people and make a difference in the world. As a result, he wrote the band’s first song, “Skylines And Turnstiles.” He shared the lyrics with his friend Matt Pelissier, who agreed to be the then-unnamed band’s drummer. Gerard then recruited Ray Toro, whom he used to be in a band with as the lead guitarist, and eventually invited his brother Mikey Way to be the bassist, and Frank Iero to be the rhythm guitarist.

Their first album, I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love, was released in 2002 and was recorded in Matt Pelissier’s attic. Because of this, some of the songs are lovingly referred to as the “attic demos.” The album’s copyright warning
