[Verse 1]
He calls the mansion not a house but a tomb
He's always choking from the stench and the fume
The wedding party all collapsed in the room
So send my resignation to the bride and the groom
Let's go down!

This elevator only goes up to ten
He's not around, he's always looking at men
Down by the pool, he doesn't have many friends
As they are face-down and bloated, snap a shot with the lens

[Pre-Chorus]
If you marry me, would you bury me?
Would you carry me to the end?

[Chorus]
(Say goodbye) To the vows you take
(Say goodbye) To the life you make
(And say goodbye) To the hearts you break
And all the cyanide you drank

[Post-Chorus]
Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa

[Verse 2]
She keeps a picture of the body she lends
Got nasty blisters from the money she spends
She's got a life of her own and it shows by the Benz
She drives at 90 by the Barbies and Kens

If you ever say never too late
I'll forget all the diamonds you ate
Lost in coma and covered in cake
Increase the medication, share the vows at the wake
Kiss the bride

[Pre-Chorus]
If you marry me, would you bury me?
Would you carry me to the end?

[Chorus]
(Say goodbye) To the vows you take
(Say goodbye) To the life you make
(And say goodbye) To the hearts you break
And all the cyanide you drank

(And say goodbye) To the last parade
(And walk away) From the choice you made
(And say goodnight) To the hearts you break
And all the cyanide you drank

[Guitar Solo]

[Post-Chorus]
Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa
Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa
Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa
Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa

[Chorus]
(Say goodbye) To the vows you take
(Say goodbye) To the life you make
(And say goodbye) To the hearts you break
And all the cyanide you drank

(And say goodbye) To the last parade
(And walk away) From the choice you made
(And say goodnight) To the hearts you break
And all the cyanide you drank

[Outro]
(Woah) To the last parade
(Woah) When the parties fade
(Woah) And the choice you made
To the end...

My Chemical Romance

My Chemical Romance is an alt/punk/hardcore rock band that produced four studio albums and a compilation album over their initial twelve-year lifespan from 2001-2013. They then went on a six-year hiatus, until Halloween of 2019, when they announced a long-awaited revival of the band. They have touched the hearts of millions through their honest, raw lyrics and inspirational stories.

The band started after front-man and founder Gerard Way witnessed the 9/11 terror attacks in New York City. He felt compelled to empower people and make a difference in the world. As a result, he wrote the band’s first song, “Skylines And Turnstiles.” He shared the lyrics with his friend Matt Pelissier, who agreed to be the then-unnamed band’s drummer. Gerard then recruited Ray Toro, whom he used to be in a band with as the lead guitarist, and eventually invited his brother Mikey Way to be the bassist, and Frank Iero to be the rhythm guitarist.

Their first album, I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love, was released in 2002 and was recorded in Matt Pelissier’s attic. Because of this, some of the songs are lovingly referred to as the “attic demos.” The album’s copyright warning
