[Chorus]
I ain't goin' back to my hood for shit
Heard they just killed Neighborhood Nip
Popping pills 'til it make me sick (Yeah)
You show the hood love, they never show it back
If they shoot, I hope I know how to react
Know some people wanna see me on my back (On my back, yeah)

[Verse 1]
Got it on me everywhere I go, I gotta take a risk
Paranoid, can't go without it
All could do is hope my bro is 'bout it (Mm, yeah)
Killing pain every time I'm on the dope (Dope)
Without it, I don't know how to cope (Cope)
Wanna pay my mama bills, I don't want no smoke
My whole life I did the things they said I can't
Lots of pressure on me that you couldn't understand
Spend a million in the hood and you get killed for ten grand

[Chorus]
I ain't goin' back to my hood for shit
Heard they just killed Neighborhood Nip (Neighbor)
Popping pills 'til it make me sick (Yeah)
You show the hood love, they never show it back
If they shoot, I hope I know how to react
Know some people wanna see me on my back (Yeah)

[Verse 2]
Back and forth from my mama, tryna move her out the Rex
Jack boys tried to pull it on me walking down the steps
Let 'em take my chain, know I'd die for my respect (Yeah)
Y'all don't feel my pain, I done seen death
Let the bullets rain, we gon' leave 'em wet
Put up a little change and I paid my debts
They got Bucksy in the cage and it got me bent
Pour another four, ain't got no way to vent (Yeah)
When he come home, I'ma give my boy a M (Bucksy)

[Chorus]
I ain't goin' back to my hood for shit
Heard they just killed Neighborhood Nip (Neighbor)
Popping pills 'til it make me sick (Sick)
You show the hood love, they never show it back
If they shoot, I hope I know how to react
Know some people wanna see me on my back (Yeah, yeah)
I ain't goin' back to my hood for shit (For shit)
Heard they just killed Neighborhood Nip (Neighbor)
Popping pills 'til it make me sick (Sick, sick)
You show the hood love, they never show it back
If they shoot, I hope I know how to react
Know some people wanna see me on my back (On my back, on my back)

NAV

Navraj Singh Goraya (born November 3, 1989), popularly known as NAV, is an Indian-Canadian recording artist, record producer, and engineer from Rexdale, Ontario, Canada, a district of Toronto. His parents are both from the state of Punjab in India and are fluent in the Punjabi language; NAV himself is fluent in both English and Punjabi and practices the religion of Sikhism, the religion the majority of Punjabs practice.

Following in the footsteps of Canadian singer The Weeknd, the co-founder and leader of XO and a frequent collaborator of his, NAV has preferred to let his SoundCloud do the talking in the early stages of his career. Although going largely unnoticed at the time of its release, NAV’s first noteworthy production credit was in July 2015 when he helped co-produce Drake’s diss track towards Meek Mill, “Back to Back.”

After hearing a string of successful SoundCloud hits, including the self-produced “Myself,” in 2016, Amir “Cash” Esmailian,, the co-founder and manager of XO, reached out to NAV, giving him an opportunity to expand from the revolutionary music platform. NAV has grabbed numerous features since linking up with The Weeknd and the rest of XO, consisting of Belly, 88GLAM, and Black Atlass. His first and arguably most recognizable feature (which he also solely produced) is Travis Scott’s September 2016 song, “beibs in the trap,” from Travis' sophomore studio album, Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight.
