[Verse 1]
The princess in her flower bed
Pulled the jungle underground
Where cherry bombs stain the blackbirds red
And explosions never make a sound

[Chorus 1]
(Oh, comet come down)
Kamikaze over me
(And I come alive)
My midnight melody
(Oh, comet come down)

[Verse 2]
My captain on the snowy horse
Is coming back to take me home
(Is coming back to take me home)
He'll find me fighting back the terrible force
Because I'm not afraid to die alone

[Chorus 1]
(Oh, comet come down)
Kamikaze over me
(And I come alive)
My midnight melody
(Oh, comet come down)
(Oh, comet come down)
(Down)

[Chorus 2]
(Break down the open road)
Maybe I'll ride
(And fight back the undertow)
To save my life
(Bring in the ember glow)
Maybe I'll fly
(And go where you want to go)
With an eagle eye

[Chorus 2]
(Break down the open road)
Maybe I'll ride
(And fight back the undertow)
To save my life
(Bring in, bring in the ember glow)
Maybe I'll fly
(And go where you want to go)
With an eagle eye
(Eagle eye)
(Eagle eye)
(Eagle eye)
(Eagle eye)
(Eagle eye)
(Eagle eye)
(Eagle eye)
(Eagle eye)
(Eagle eye)
(Eagle eye)
(Eagle eye)

Owl City

Originally making songs in his basement for his friends as Sky Sailing, Adam Young then discovered synth music and became Owl City, releasing two relatively unpopular albums Maybe I’m Dreaming and Of June before making his hit single “Fireflies” which made his third album as Owl City, Ocean Eyes a hit.

After this worldwide success he put on two more albums, All Things Bright and Beautiful in 2011, and The Midsummer Station in 2012. In 2014 he released an EP, Ultraviolet, composed of 4 songs whom one would appear on his following album, Mobile Orchestra. Retiring from Owl City in 2016 to focus on Adam Young Scores, a new project made of orchestral soundtracks about historic events, he reappeared in 2017 to tease his upcoming new album Cinematic, with the release of a series of three EPs, called Reel 1 , 2 and 3.
