[Verse]
And when the time comes around, we will be duty bound
To tell the through of what we've seen
And what we haven't found will not be going down
Despite too easy ride to see

[Chorus]
From a lover to a friend, take your own advice
Let me love again
Now that you turned out to be someone I can trust
Someone I believe

[Post-Chorus]
Ooh la la la la la la la
How can I walk when I can't find a way
I have a dilemma
All I want is to tell me
You're going to take it away

[Chorus]
From a lover to a friend
Take your own advice, let me love again
Now that you turned out to be
Someone I can trust, someone I believe

[Verse excerpt]
And what we haven't found
Will not be going down
Despite too easy ride to see

[Chorus]
From a lover to a friend, you turned out to be
Someone I believe
From a lover to a friend, take your own advice
Let me love again

[Post-Chorus]
Ooh la la la la la la la la
How can I walk when I can't find a way
I have a dilemma
All I want it is to tell me
You're going to take it away

[Outro]
From a lover to a friend
From a lover to a friend
From a lover to a friend
Let me love again

Paul McCartney

Sir James Paul McCartney, born June 18, 1942, is the single most successful music artist of all time. He found worldwide fame as the bass player and vocalist for The Beatles, and has continued to enjoy commercial success long after the band’s breakup.

His post-Beatles projects—the most lucrative of which was the band Wings, alongside then-wife Linda Eastman—have been met with mixed critical reception but he still retains a substantial public following, regularly conducting worldwide arena tours well into his later years.

His album sales with The Beatles, Wings and solo endeavours combined come to over 100 million, and his net worth was estimated to be approximately $1.2 billion circa 2018. He was knighted in 1997 and is known for his activism.
