[Verse 1]
I know something you don't know
I want you to listen to the tale
I know a reasonable woman
Handsome and witty, yet a friend

[Pre-Chorus]
She's got the right amount of passion
She isn't into rumour
Not too serious or too dumb
An equal mixture of good humour

[Chorus]
And sweet, sweet memories (Ah, sweet memories)
Sweet, sweet memories
Sweet memories
Sweet, sweet, memories
She's got sweet, sweet memories
Sweet memories
Sweet, sweet memories

[Verse 2]
Has she got any faults then?
Yes, she has one I must admit
When all the world tries to praise her
She refuses to hear it

[Pre-Chorus]
She's got the right amount of passion
She isn't into rumour
Not too serious or too dumb
An equal mixture of good humour

[Chorus]
And sweet, sweet memories
Sweet, sweet memories
Yeah, we got sweet, sweet memories
Sweet, memories
Sweet, sweet memories
She's got sweet, sweet memories
Yeah, sweet memories
Sweet, sweet memories

[Instrumental Bridge]

[Pre-Chorus]
She's got the right amount of passion
She isn't into rumour
Not too serious or too dumb
An equal mixture of good humour

[Chorus]
And sweet, sweet memories
Sensible soft and melancholy
Sweet, sweet memories
Sweet memories
Sweet, sweet memories

[Outro]
She's got sweet, sweet memories
Sweet memories
Sweet, sweet memories
Oh, memory, memories
Sweetest thing you ever saw
Hey yeah, sweet, sweet memories
Sweet, sweet memories
Taking me back
Taking me back
Taking me back

Paul McCartney

Sir James Paul McCartney, born June 18, 1942, is the single most successful music artist of all time. He found worldwide fame as the bass player and vocalist for The Beatles, and has continued to enjoy commercial success long after the band’s breakup.

His post-Beatles projects—the most lucrative of which was the band Wings, alongside then-wife Linda Eastman—have been met with mixed critical reception but he still retains a substantial public following, regularly conducting worldwide arena tours well into his later years.

His album sales with The Beatles, Wings and solo endeavours combined come to over 100 million, and his net worth was estimated to be approximately $1.2 billion circa 2018. He was knighted in 1997 and is known for his activism.
