[Intro]
Woo
Just give it to me, give it to me, yeah
You know you better give it
Give it to me (to me), give it to me

[Verse 1]
Boy, when I think about the things that you do to me
It defies the laws of reason how you continue treating me so sweetly

[Pre-Chorus]
There is no one in the world that makes me feel the way you do
And there are no words that can describe the way I feel for you
You know how to give and how to take and how true love should be
And I love how you give it to me
So why don't you give it to me

[Chorus]
Give it to me, give it to me
Just give me your all and all
Even your pride in talking to me
Give it to me (my sweet baby), give it to me
Give all your sweet sweet lovin' to me
So why don't you give it to me
Give it to me, give it to me
Give all your sweet sweet lovin' to me

[Verse 2]
Boy, when I think about the time that you spent with me
You defied the laws of nature and all my girlfriends hate you
You keep it so sweet

[Pre-Chorus]
If I had to rate your love, you'd get from number one to ten
It would not be fair because we know that you would always win
And if not, I win, I get from people what you're giving me
And I love what you're giving to me
So why don't you give it to me

[Chorus]
Give it to me, give it to me
Give me your all and all
Even your pride in talking to me
Give it to me (my sweet baby), give it to me
Give all your sweet sweet lovin' to me
So why don't you give it to me
Give it to me, give it to me
Give me your all and all
Even your pride in talking to me
Give it to me (my sweet baby), give it to me
Give all your sweet sweet lovin' to me
Why don't you give it to me

[Bridge]
What you give me, how you treat me
I'm the luckiest girl, you're the sweetest thing
You're the finest one, my mind is won by everything you do
When the love is true, what I wouldn't do, boy, you truly are the one
And I love the love you've given to me
Why don't you give it to me

[Chorus]
Give it to me, give it to me
Just give me your all and all
Even your pride in talking to me
Give it to me (my sweet baby), give it to me
Give all your sweet sweet lovin' to me

[Bridge]
What you're giving me, how you're treating me
I'm the luckiest girl, you're the sweetest thing
You're the finest one, my mind is won by everything you do
When the love is true, what I wouldn't do, boy, you truly are the one
And I love the love you've given to me
Why don't you give it to me

[Chorus]
Give it to me, give it to me
Just give me your all and all
Even your pride in talking to me
Give it to me (my sweet baby), give it to me
Give all your sweet sweet lovin' to me

[Outro]
What you're giving me, how you're treating me
I'm the luckiest girl, you're the sweetest thing
You're the finest one, my mind is won by everything you do
When the love is true, what I wouldn't do, boy, you truly are the one
And I love the love you've given to me

Pebbles

Pebbles (born Perri McKissack on August 29, 1964) is a singer-songwriter from the Bay Area. She got her start as a back-up singer for the Vallejo-based group Con Funk Shun in the early 1980s before breaking through with her self-titled debut album in 1987. Her first big single from the album was the L.A. Reid & Babyface-produced hit “Girlfriend,” which hit #1 on the R&B Singles chart and peaked at #5 on the pop chart. She followed that up with her biggest single “Mercedes Boy,” which also topped the R&B Singles chart while peaking at #2 on both the Billboard Hot 100 & Dance charts.

Her 1990 sophomore album Always was primarily written and produced by L.A. & Face. The album featured the #1 R&B singles “Giving You the Benefit” and her duet with Babyface “Love Makes Things Happen” as well as the Top 5 R&B hit “Backyard” with Salt-N-Pepa. On a personal note, R&B singer Cherrelle is her cousin and she was featured on the title track along with Johnny Gill.

Prior to the release of Always, Pebbles and L.A. Reid married in 1989. Following the release of that album, she began managing TLC under her Pebbitone company while they signed to LaFace Records. TLC filed for bankruptcy in 1995 and cited mismanagement by Pebbles as a source of their financial issues. This situation took a toll on her marriage to L.A. Reid and he filed for divorced the same year.
