"They say that love is blind, but I can see clearly when
I'm makin' love to you, lookin' you in your eyes
I see love has the greatest vision of all time. Yeah babe
How many of you are a living witness that love is real? Yeah babe
And how many of you know that love will be there for you
When you're up or when you're down?
And if you feel like I feel tonight, look at your lover and
Recite these words!"

Whoa my darlin', whoa my baby
How to describe it, I can't count the ways
I get a real good fellin', when I'm with you
What we got is something solid and no one can move
Fuss and fight, break up, through the night, we make up
I for you and you for me, we can get through anything
We could make the whole world sing

[Hook]
I believe, I believe that love is
Whoa you and me together for eternity
I believe that love is
Ups and downs, storm and rains
Through the joy and through the pain

Hey sweet lady, my everything
Girl let's get somewhere tonight and let our love rain
Cause I love what ya do, when you
Do what you do to me, girl
They can talk, but we're too strong
We're gonna let our love prove 'em wrong
Cause I for you and you for me, we could get through anything
We could make the whole world sing

[Hook]

Lovin' you is what I was put on this earth to do
Oh baby, first I was lonely, now girl I got you
I wanna spend the rest of my life thankin' heaven I found you

Love is
Whoa you and me together for eternity
I beieve that love is
Ups and downs, storm and rains
Through the joy and through the pain

Robert Kelly is a Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter, and producer from the South Side of Chicago, Illinois, where he first started performing under the “L” subway tracks as a teenager. This led into his first album, Born Into the 90’s, being released in 1992 as a collaboration between R. Kelly and Public Announcement. R. Kelly wrote and produced the entire album, which contained the #1 R&B hits “Honey Love” and “Slow Dance,” along with the Top 10 R&B hits “She’s Got That Vibe” (#7) and “Dedicated” (#9). The following year, Kelly went on to become a solo act.

In 1993, he released his first solo album, 12 Play, featuring the hits “Bump N' Grind” and “Your Body’s Callin'.” He released a self-titled album in 1995 featuring the hits “Down Low (Nobody Has To Know)” and “You Remind Me of Something,” while his 1998 double album, R., featured a string of hits, including “I Am Your Angel” with Celine Dion, “When a Woman’s Fed Up,” and his Grammy Award-winning song “I Believe I Can Fly” from the Space Jam soundtrack.

The success of these albums led to him becoming an in-demand producer in the ‘90s, writing and producing #1 hits for Aaliyah (“Back & Forth”), Janet Jackson (“Any Time, Any Place (Remix)”), Changing Faces (“G.H.E.T.T.O.U.T”), Maxwell (“Fortunate”), and Michael Jackson (“You Are Not Alone”).
