[Verse 1]
Ever since I met you, baby
I've been acting kinda strange
I wake up in the morning
Then without a warning
All I do is scream your name, yeh
Every time I look inside me
I see the man that I've become
You make me want to huller
And jump right out my collar
You've got me on the run, yeh

[Chorus]
Oo-wee, babe, oo-wee, yeh
Friends don't recognise me
They say you hypnotise me
Oo, what you done to me, babe?
You drive me out of my sunsets, oo-wee

[Verse 2]
She look just like the new Jean Harlow, (ooohh!)
With sultry lips and long blonde hair
They say she came from haites
Or was it the Euphrates
That brought my lady here, yeh?

[Chorus]
Oo-wee, babe, oo-wee, yeh
Friends don't understand me
They say you underhand me
Oo, what you done to me, babe?
You drive me out of my senses, oo-wee

[Verse 3]
When I walk into her parlour
It's like the spider and the fly
In the darkness she surrounds me
And weaves her web around me
And locks me up inside, yeh

[Verse 2]
She look just like the new Jean Harlow, (ooohh!)
With sultry lips and long blonde hair
They say she came from haites
Or was it the Euphrates
That brought my lady here, yeh?

[Chorus]
Oo-wee, babe, oo-wee, yeh
Friends don't understand me
They say you underhand me
Oo, what you done to me, babe?
You drive me out of my senses, oo-wee
Oo-wee, babe (oo-wee)
Oo-wee, babe (oo-wee)
Oo-wee, babe (oo-wee)

Ringo Starr

Best known as the drummer for The Beatles, Ringo Starr (born Richard Starkey, 1940) also had a moderately successful solo career (with hits like “It Don’t Come Easy” and “Photograph”) and was the narrator for Thomas The Tank Engine.

His country-infused nickname emerged from a tendency to wear rings on his fingers.
