Featuring: Jane Horrocks

Songwriter: Bobby Darin

[Verse 1: Robbie Williams and Jane Horrocks]
Every night I sit here by my window (window)
Starin' at the lonely avenue (avenue)
Watching lovers holdin' hands 'n' laughin' (ha ha ha)
And thinkin' 'bout the things we used to do

[Chorus: Robbie Williams and Jane Horrocks]
(Thinkin' bout things) Like a walk in the park
(Things) Like a kiss in the dark
(Things) Like a sailboat ride
(Yeah-yeah) What about the night we cried?
Things like a lover's vow
Things that we don't do now
Thinkin' 'bout the things we used to do

[Verse 2: Robbie Williams and Jane Horrocks]
Memories are all I have to cling to (cling to)
And heartaches are the friends I'm talkin' to
(but ya got me now)
When I'm not thinkin' 'bout just how much I love you
(I love you too)
I'm thinkin' 'bout the things we used to do (we used to do)

[Chorus: Robbie Williams and Jane Horrocks]
(Thinkin' bout things) Like a walk in the park
(Things) Like a kiss in the dark
(Things) Like a sailboat ride
(Yeah-yeah) What about the night we cried?
Things like a lover's vow
Things that we don't do now
Thinkin' 'bout the things we used to do

[Verse 3: Robbie Williams and Jane Horrocks]
Still can hear the jukebox softly playin' (playin')
And the face each day I see belongs to you (belongs to you)
There's not a single sound and there's nobody else around (oh)
It's just me thinkin' about things we used to do

[Chorus: Robbie Williams and Jane Horrocks]
(Thinkin' bout things) Like a walk in the park
(Lots of things) Like a kiss in the dark
(Yeah, things) Like a sailboat ride
(Wow, wow) What about the night we cried?
Things like a lover's vow
Things that we don't do now
Thinkin' 'bout the things we used to do

And the heartaches are the friends I'm talkin' to
You got me thinkin' 'bout the things we used to do (I hope so)
Thinkin' bout the things we used to do

[Spoken outro: Robbie Williams and Jane Horrocks]
You were rubbish in that
Don't start that on me on this album
Why, why did you do it like that that time?
Well, from start to finish there you're saying that I'm wrong
You said, you said I had to think about Kylie when I was doing this and I was
You obviously weren't thinking about Kylie, were you, you were thinking about June Whitfield
I can't hear you now, I can't hear you
Well, you were thinking about June Whitfield, that's who you were thinking about
I was thinking about somebody, you told me Kylie
Well, listen, you just came in wrong and then it got progressively worse from there
What?
You started wrong and then it just went worse
Can't hear you, cut the act
It went bad bad bad right towards the end
Who said that? When you sang
No, when you sang
What? Who said that?
No, look, you started this on your last album, I don't want anything to do with it, I'm going, goodbye

Robbie Williams

One of Britain’s biggest pop acts, Robbie Williams is an English singer-songwriter. He originally rose to fame in boy band Take That but left the group in 1995 to pursue a solo career.

He released his debut album, Life Thru a Lens, in 1997. Although slow to take off, after the success of single “Angels”, the album rose to No.1 in the UK charts. Then his second album, I’ve Been Expecting You, became an even bigger success. Released in 1998, it produced hits “Millennium”, “Strong” and “She’s the One”.

His success continued on third album Sing When You’re Winning, released in 2000, which contains hits “Rock DJ”, “Kids” and “Supreme”; fourth album Swing When You’re Winning (2001) a compilation of big band standards, with single “Somethin' Stupid”; fifth album Escapology (2002), which contains the hit “Feel”; sixth album Intensive Care (2005) with hits “Tripping” and “Sin Sin Sin”.
