[Verse 1]
I came in peace and I survived
I let the light destroy the lies
Till there's no bitterness inside
And I'll be kind but I won't be cheap
There is no limit here for me
I'm taking everything I need

The world's alive, but it's run by thieves
Trying to take your soul before you leave
And it can break you down if you don't break through
Take back control

[Half-Chorus]
When you feel like hope is gone
And there's no need to soldier on
No surrender
Don't you surrender, my love

[Verse 2]
I bit the world, the world bit back
This shout of love is not an act
And I'd care less if you don't understand
So when they sing the symphony
It will be written just for me
A most joyous melody

Seek joy, avoid pain
Wake up and do it again
This is your home, this is your life
Take back control

[Chorus]
When you feel like hope is gone
And there's no need to soldier on
No surrender
Now don't you surrender, my love
Cause you're not here for very long
So when you leave, go with a song
No surrender
Let it be no surrender, my love

[Bridge]
Treat me like a king, kiss me like a stranger
Treat me like a king, kiss me like a stranger
Treat me like a king, kiss me like a stranger
Treat me like a king, kiss me like a stranger

[Chorus]
When you feel like hope is gone
And there's no need to soldier on
No surrender
Don't you surrender, my love
(Cause you're not here for very long)
I bit the world, the world bit back
This shot of love is not an act
(So when you leave, go with a song)
And I'd care less if you don't understand
(No surrender) No surrender
Let it be no surrender, my love

[Bridge]
Treat me like a king, kiss me like a stranger
Treat me like a king, kiss me like a stranger

Robbie Williams

One of Britain’s biggest pop acts, Robbie Williams is an English singer-songwriter. He originally rose to fame in boy band Take That but left the group in 1995 to pursue a solo career.

He released his debut album, Life Thru a Lens, in 1997. Although slow to take off, after the success of single “Angels”, the album rose to No.1 in the UK charts. Then his second album, I’ve Been Expecting You, became an even bigger success. Released in 1998, it produced hits “Millennium”, “Strong” and “She’s the One”.

His success continued on third album Sing When You’re Winning, released in 2000, which contains hits “Rock DJ”, “Kids” and “Supreme”; fourth album Swing When You’re Winning (2001) a compilation of big band standards, with single “Somethin' Stupid”; fifth album Escapology (2002), which contains the hit “Feel”; sixth album Intensive Care (2005) with hits “Tripping” and “Sin Sin Sin”.
