[Verse 1]
Hey now, what did I do wrong?
I'm only several words into this song
Yesterday, yes was the equation
Now today's no, what's the occasion
I used to be the bird that always flew
Did I sit on the fence because all I can think of is you

[Verse 2]
I've never been more confused
I look at the phone but it's all bad news
When I check for the text like a neurotic chancer
The verb is a void 'cause no is the answer
I used to be the boy who played it cool
Then I sat on the fence and all I could think of is you

[Bridge]
Oh, did we enter the friend zone?
And oh, is there any way back?

[Verse 3]
I thought we had a strong connection
You said it had to be perfection
Please let me be the one to break that rule
I don't know what went wrong
'Cause I don't have a clue
Like a knife and a fork and a big bowl of soup
And I sat on the fence and now all I can think of is you

[Outro]
Why, why, why, why, why, why

Robbie Williams

One of Britain’s biggest pop acts, Robbie Williams is an English singer-songwriter. He originally rose to fame in boy band Take That but left the group in 1995 to pursue a solo career.

He released his debut album, Life Thru a Lens, in 1997. Although slow to take off, after the success of single “Angels”, the album rose to No.1 in the UK charts. Then his second album, I’ve Been Expecting You, became an even bigger success. Released in 1998, it produced hits “Millennium”, “Strong” and “She’s the One”.

His success continued on third album Sing When You’re Winning, released in 2000, which contains hits “Rock DJ”, “Kids” and “Supreme”; fourth album Swing When You’re Winning (2001) a compilation of big band standards, with single “Somethin' Stupid”; fifth album Escapology (2002), which contains the hit “Feel”; sixth album Intensive Care (2005) with hits “Tripping” and “Sin Sin Sin”.
