No fuss no fight
Alone again tonight
I’ll hold you tight
Til our sweet kisses have washed our cares away
No stress no strain
We’ll be alone tonight again
I’ll whisper your name
We’ll spend the night layin’ in each other’s arms
With just the two of us
It's set to last (?)
Don’t we make us feel (?)
The happiest
Unplug the telephone
And pull the blinds
Ah, you already did
You read my mind
The way we synchronise
There is no doubt
You always take the words
Out of my mouth
So let’s get comfortable
And take the time
To count our blessings now
Add yours to mine

No fuss no fight
Your time and place is right
It’s sheer delight
Holding you close
Feeling you right next to me
Just relax
Smell the roses
Don’t get up
Cool your heels
Take a break
Work is over
Don’t lift a finger
I’ll get it made

No fuss no fight
At home tonight
I’ll hold you tight
We’ll spend the night laying in each other’s arms
No stress no strain
We’ll be alone tonight again
I’ll whisper your name
Til our caresses have eased our cares away

Robert Palmer

Robert Allen Palmer (19 January 1949 – 26 September 2003) was an English singer-songwriter[1] and musician. He was known for his distinctive soulful voice, eclectic mix of musical styles on his albums, combining soul, jazz, rock, pop, reggae and blues and sartorial acumen. He found success both in his solo career and with the Power Station, and had Top 10 songs in both the UK and the US.

His iconic music videos directed by British fashion photographer Terence Donovan for the hits “Addicted to Love” and “Simply Irresistible” featured identically dressed dancing women with pale faces, dark eye makeup and bright red lipstick, which resembled the women in the art of Patrick Nagel, an artist popular in the 1980s. Palmer’s involvement in the music industry commenced in the 1960s, covered four decades and included a spell with Vinegar Joe.
