[Intro]
Hey, sorry I missed your call, um
I'm just calling you back to, uh
To let you know that, uh
I love you, and I miss you

[Chorus]
Girl you shouldn't be messin' with me
Girl you shouldn't be stressin' 'bout me (Don't mind me)
You got better things to do with your time than invest it in me (Your time)
Don't give me an inch, 'cause I'ma take a mile, baby
Everything I'm feelin' just for now, baby
I can't love you, I'm already scarred, baby
Don't you love me, I'ma break your heart, baby

[Verse]
It'll be over before it even start, baby
I can't love you, I'm already scarred, baby
I can not come fix your broken heart, baby
'Cause mine has been ripped apart, baby
I been hurt before
And everything you've say, I've heard before
You say, "You're everything I'm searchin' for"
But truth be told, I don't search no more
I take to many trips for a relationship
On the road, doin' shows, workin' on my career
In the streets week-to-week, I could not miss a beat
I got places to be, 'til my vision is clear
Sorry, I can't be the man of your dreams
Sorry, can't be who you need me to be
Sorry, this dog is too free for a leach
You too perfect for me, it's easy to see

[Chorus]
Girl you shouldn't be messin' with me (With me, yeah)
Girl you shouldn't be stressin' 'bout me (Not me, yeah)
You got better things to do with your time than invest it in me (Your time, oh)
Don't give me an inch, 'cause I'ma take a mile, baby (Take a mile, baby)
Everything I'm feelin' just for now, baby (Just for now, baby)
I can't love you, I'm already scarred, baby (I'm scarred, baby)
Don't you love me, I'ma break your heart, baby (Heart, baby)
