Songwriter: Bruce Springsteen

[Verse 1]
Hey little girl, is your daddy home?
Did he go away and leave you all alone?
Oh, I, I got a bad desire
Oh, I'm on fire

[Verse 2]
So tell me now baby, is he good to you?
Can he do to you the things I can do?
Oh, I can take you higher
Ooh, I'm on fire

[Bridge]
Sometimes it's like someone took a knife, baby
Edgy and dull, and cut a six-inch valley
Through the middle of my soul

[Verse 3]
At night I wake up with the sheets soaking wet
And a freight train running through the
Middle of my head
Only you can cool my desire
Oh, ooh, I'm on fire
Yeah, I'm on fire
Ooh, I'm on fire
Ooh, yeah, I'm on fire
Ooh, I'm on fire

Shakey Graves

Shakey Graves is the stage name of musician, actor, and “Texas gentleman,” Alejandro Rose-Garcia. For a large part of his musical career, Shakey Graves has been characterized as an Americana musician, his music being a cross between blues, folk, and rock and roll. However, Shakey has changed up his musical style, saying, “Next album. New sound. Sell your suspenders,” referring to his 2018 album Can’t Wake Up.

Originally a one man band, Shakey Graves has since come to refer not only to Rose-Garcia himself, but also to his full musical quartet; consisting of himself, Chris “Boo” Boosahda, Patrick “Pat from the Pit” O'Connor, and Jon Shaw.
