There are places I remember
All my life
Though some have changed

Some forever not for better
Some have gone
And some remain

All these places have their moments
With lovers and friends
I still can recall

Some are dead and some are living
In my life
I've loved them all

And of all these friends and lovers
There is no one
Compares with you

And these memories lose their meaning
When I think of love
As something new

Though I know I'll never ever lose affection
For people and things
That went before

And I know I'll often stop and think about them

In my life
I've loved you more

In my life
I've loved you
More

Stephen Stills

Stephen Arthur Stills — like the other three singer-songwriters who comprise the supergroup Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young — was originally the part of another vocal-harmony superstar band, in his case Buffalo Springfield, an origin he shared with Neil Young.

Like the other members of CSN&Y, while some of his most stellar work was with that group he also produced lasting contributions to music through his solo efforts, and played tag team with one or more of the other members to make duo and trio albums.
