[Chorus: Alexa]
We'll be alright
We'll be alright
We'll be alright
We'll be alright

[Verse 1: Forrest]
Head stuck to my pillow
Sunshine sneaking up through the window
Three birds peeping in the weeping willow
And no signal
I got ripped jeans cause my hand me downs holy
Flaked on by my fridge like tony
Guess I’ll be eating all the words you say
And you say everything is gonna be okay 'cause

[Chorus: Alexa]
We'll be alright
We'll be alright
We'll be alright
We'll be alright

[Verse 2: Forrest]
And now the breeze got us feeling good
Cruising 'round the neighborhood
Living like a child would
And love you like my mama could
Windows down if I’m around surround the oxygen with sound
You could be my lucy let’s kick it like charlie brown
Woah baby loosen up that load you’re afraid to lose control
You should listen to your soul

[Chorus: Alexa]
We'll be alright
We'll be alright
We'll be alright
We'll be alright

[Outro: Forrest]
Man I used to stay awake all night
And wonder if I’m worth the fight
But I woke up I’m still alive
That’s how I know we’ll be alright
Used to stay awake all night
And wonder if I’m worth the fight
But I woke up I’m still alive
That’s how I know we’ll be alright

Surfaces

Formed in 2017, Surfaces is a Texas-based duo made up of Forrest. and Colin Padalecki, making upbeat, feel-good pop influenced by ‘70s R&B, electronica, and hip-hop.

After working with his cousin in high school, Padalecki continued working on tracks while attending Texas A&M University, where he began posting songs online, which caught the attention of Forrest. In December 2017, Surfaces released their debut album, Surf, which included the song “Be Alright.”

The track gained fans online and helped build buzz for the duo, who eventually found themselves touring in support of the album. In 2019, they issued their sophomore LP, Where the Light Is, which included “Sunday Best,” catapulting the duo into the spotlight. Surfaces returned with their third album, Horizons, in 2020.
