[Pre-Chorus]

[Pre-Chorus]
Giving up too much
Giving up

Be honest
Be kind

[Chorus]
We're waiting for the universe
We're waiting for the light to lead the way
Creating what we can't reverse
Nothing will ever be the same again
You held it all, you had it all
You lost control and let it go again
We're waiting for the universe to end

[Verse 1]
You're much too strong for me
And I can't hold your hand like I used to
You're much too hard for me
And I can't change your heart like I used to

[Verse 2]
And all that's let to say to you
Is to smile when the lights are on
This never was enough for you
Now we both know where we belong

[Pre-Chorus]
Giving up too much, giving up
I've never given this much to another, no, not to another lover
Give it up too much, giving up
I've never given so much, never given so much, so much

[Chorus]
We're waiting for the universe
We're waiting for the light to lead the way
Creating what we can't reverse
Nothing will ever be the same again
You held it all, you had it all
You lost control and let it go again
We're waiting for the universe to end

[Middle 8]
Goodbye, good night, my love
Goodbye, my love

Take That

One of Britain’s most successful boy bands, Take That are an English pop group from Manchester, formed in 1990. The group currently consists of Gary Barlow, Howard Donald, and Mark Owen. The original line-up also featured Jason Orange and Robbie Williams.

Back in the 90s, they achieved unparalleled success, recording three albums which topped the UK Everything Changes and Nobody Else and Greatest Hits. Some of their biggest hits from then include “Back for Good”, “Pray”, “Everything Changes”, “A Million Love Songs” as well as covers of “Relight My Fire” by Dan Hartman and “It Only Takes a Minute” by Tavares.

Their popularity was unsurpassed in Britain. But tensions started growing and Robbie Williams left the band in 1995. The group disbanded the following year after the four remaining members completed their world tour.
