(T. Dayne, T. Keane)

Eyes of green and hair like golden arches
Deeper than the ocean or the seas
Dogs howlin' when love was spoken
Nests were made then hearts were broken
Loves is not always just as it seems
But I can dream of you tonight
Wake to find you're not around
I can sleep without the light
Shadows hound then fall behind
I can dream of you
Until I'm blue
But that won't change that you're not here in my life
Hold me now and spread your wings my darling
I'll wash away the morning tears your leave
Stars were bright and sails were charted
Mountains crumbled when you parted
Love is not always just what it seems
But I can dream of you tonight
Wake to find you're not around
I can sleep without the light
Shadows hound then fall behind
I can dream of you
Until I'm blue
But that won't change that you're not here by my side
We walk through doors that are uncertain
Hoping this time will be different
But I'm not sure that life works out that way
But I can dream of you tonight
Wake to find you're not around
I can sleep without the light
Shadows hound then fall behind
I can dream of you
Until I'm blue
But that won't change that you're not here by my side
But that won't change that you're not here in my life
Oh my baby
Oh yeah yeah
Oh, yeah, hey hey
I love oh oh oh you
