You needed me
I wasn't there
I didn't care
The way you cared about me

I broke your heart
So many times
'Til there was nothing you felt inside
I didn't know

That I'd be needing you
'Til I lost your love
Now you're all I'm thinking of
Standing here in the pouring rain

Every night callin' out your name
Lookin' for the door to your heart
Baby please let me see a sign

Let me know that your love's still mine
Let me back through the door to your heart

So many nights
So all alone
So many days
How I wished you still loved me

I had my chances
Threw it away
And now I love you but my love's too late
I didn't know

You were the one for me
Now that I see
Back in your arms is where I want to be
Standin' here in the pourin' rain

(You needed me)
Every night callin' out your name
(I wasn't there)
Looking for the door to your heart
(I didn't care)

Baby please let me see a sign
(I broke your heart)
Let me know that your love's still mine
(So many times)

Let me back through the door to your heart
(I lost your love)
Now I love you but my love's too late
