[Verse 1: Michael + (Jermaine) + Jackson 5]
I can't wait to get to school each day
And wait for you to pass my way
(And bells start to ring) and angels start to sing
"Hey, that's the girl for you" (ooh, yeah)
"So what are you gonna do?" (ooh, baby)
Hey, little girl, I love you so (I love you so)

[Chorus: Jackson 5 + (Jermaine)]
All I do is think of you
Day and night that's all I do (that's all I do, baby)
I can't get you off my mind (off my mind)
Think about you all the time, all the time

[Verse 2: Michael + (Jermaine) + Jackson 5]
I begun to take the long way home
Just so I can be alone
(To think of how to say)
You're fine in every way
Hey, I'm in love with you (oh, I love you baby)
I think the world of you (ooh, yes I do)
Oh, won't you please, please be mine

[Chorus: Jackson 5]
All I do is think of you
Baby, day and night that's all I do
I can't get you off my mind
Think about you all the time, all the time, ooh

[Bridge: Michael + Jermaine]
Girl, you're so doggone fine
Baby, I love you
Think the world of you, oh

[Chorus: Jackson 5]
All I do is think of you
Day and night that's all I do
I can't get you off my mind
Think about you all the time

[Over chorus: Michael + Jermaine]
Oh...day and night that's all I do
Ooh baby, can't get you off my mind
I've been dreaming about you, I've been dreaming about you
Oh, oh baby, I keep thinking about you
All night long, oh
Baby, day and night that's all I do
Oh, can't get you, can't get you off my mind...

The Jackson 5

The Jackson 5 were originally formed in 1963 under the name, The Jackson Brothers. The founding members were Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, and Marlon. Michael would join the group as the lead singer a year later, a move which pushed Jermaine to sing the backing vocals and play the lead guitar.

After participating in a series of talent shows, they entered the professional music scene in 1967, signing with Steeltown Records and releasing ten singles. In 1969, they left Steeltown Records in order to sign with Motown.

In 1975, most of the Jacksons had opted out of recording any more music for Motown, expressing desires to have creative control over their songs, as well as royalties. Learning that they were earning only 2.8% of royalties from Motown, Joe Jackson, the father and manager of the group, began to negotiate a lucrative contract with Epic records, which offered a royalty rate of 20% per record. The deal was completed in June 1975. As Motown owned the name The Jackson 5, the group simply renamed themselves The Jacksons.
