[Verse 1]
Brand new boots I bought ya
Fine, fine blew your mind
Finally thought I caught ya
And your love was mine all mine

[Verse 2]
I see you walk by with other guys
Step, step, steppin' on my toes
The whole town's talkin' about how I'm
Your stand by Santa Claus

[Verse 3]
I knew your kisses thrilled me
Showed love in your angel eyes
The devil in you kills me
But I made up my mind

[Chorus]
I'm gonna be your sugar daddy
Give you honey all my money
Well l.a. To Cincinnati that's how far I'd crawl for you
Oh baby, I'll be your sugar daddy
Give you kissin' when it's missin' yeah
Oh baby, I'll try to keep you happy 'cause I got a sweet tooth for your love

[Post Chorus]
S-u-g listen to me, listen to me
A-r what it is, what it is now
D-a-d-d-y spells I'm your good thing

[Verse 4]
King of fools they crown me
And that crown just fits me to a t
'Cause you only come around me
Just to pick up what you need

[Verse 5]
You just play on my emotions
With please, please, pretty please
Well everybody's got the notion
I'm your good will industry

[Verse 6]
(Oh Henry)
He's driving me nuts
While I'm givin' you the candy
He's gettin' all your love

[Verse 7]
(Mary Jane said)
Mary Jane said I'm just your lollipop (Sucka)
Well my flavor's long lastin' girl
It ain't never gonna stop, no

[Bridge]
Baby I'm a fool
Just a fool in love with you
I can't help myself
Oh no, oh no
I can't help myself
Na,na,na,na

[Chorus]
I'm gonna be your sugar daddy
Give you honey all my money
Well l.a. to Cincinnati that's how far I'd crawl for you
Oh baby, I'll be your sugar daddy
Give you kissin' when it's missin' yeah
Oh baby, I'll try to keep you happy cause I got a sweet tooth for your love

The Jackson 5

The Jackson 5 were originally formed in 1963 under the name, The Jackson Brothers. The founding members were Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, and Marlon. Michael would join the group as the lead singer a year later, a move which pushed Jermaine to sing the backing vocals and play the lead guitar.

After participating in a series of talent shows, they entered the professional music scene in 1967, signing with Steeltown Records and releasing ten singles. In 1969, they left Steeltown Records in order to sign with Motown.

In 1975, most of the Jacksons had opted out of recording any more music for Motown, expressing desires to have creative control over their songs, as well as royalties. Learning that they were earning only 2.8% of royalties from Motown, Joe Jackson, the father and manager of the group, began to negotiate a lucrative contract with Epic records, which offered a royalty rate of 20% per record. The deal was completed in June 1975. As Motown owned the name The Jackson 5, the group simply renamed themselves The Jacksons.
