[Chorus: Jackson 5 + Michael]
Nobody, no, nobody, said nobody
No, no, no, nobody that can love me like you do
Can love me like you do, can love me like you

[Verse 1: Michael + Jermaine + (Jackson 5)]
(Money in the bank)
Money in the bank don't mean a thing
(Money can't buy)
Money can't buy the love you bring
Ooh, but your love, baby
Can make a blind man see, yes, it can
Can make the devil get right down on his knees

[Chorus: Jackson 5 + Michael]
Nobody, no, nobody, said nobody
No, no, no, nobody that can love me like you do
Can love me like you do, can love me like you

[Verse 2: Michael + Jermaine + (Jackson 5)]
(Movie star queen)
A movie star queen can move me not
(Movie star queen)
Take off the paint, baby, whatcha got?
Ooh, take me, girl
You're my desire, honey
I get steaming hot every time you light my fire (Light my fire)

[Chorus: Jackson 5 + Michael]
Nobody, no, nobody, said nobody
No, no, no, nobody that can love me like you do
Can love me like you do, can love me like you

[Bridge: Jermaine + (Jackson 5)]
Baby (Baby, baby, baby)
Baby (Baby, baby, baby)
Baby (Baby, baby, baby)
Baby (Baby, baby, baby)

[Verse 3: Michael + (Jackson 5)]
(The good book says)
The good book says to share with your brother
(The good book says)
When it comes to you, you better find him another
You know the wise old owl, got nothing to say
But if you loved him like you love me
He'd (hoot hoot) twenty-four hours a day!

[Chorus: Jackson 5 + Michael]
Nobody, no, nobody, said nobody
No, no, no, nobody that can love me like you do
Can love me like you do, can love me like you

[Bridge: Jermaine + Michael + (Jackson 5)]
Baby (Baby, baby, baby)
(Nobody can love me like you...)
[Repeated until fade]

The Jackson 5

The Jackson 5 were originally formed in 1963 under the name, The Jackson Brothers. The founding members were Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, and Marlon. Michael would join the group as the lead singer a year later, a move which pushed Jermaine to sing the backing vocals and play the lead guitar.

After participating in a series of talent shows, they entered the professional music scene in 1967, signing with Steeltown Records and releasing ten singles. In 1969, they left Steeltown Records in order to sign with Motown.

In 1975, most of the Jacksons had opted out of recording any more music for Motown, expressing desires to have creative control over their songs, as well as royalties. Learning that they were earning only 2.8% of royalties from Motown, Joe Jackson, the father and manager of the group, began to negotiate a lucrative contract with Epic records, which offered a royalty rate of 20% per record. The deal was completed in June 1975. As Motown owned the name The Jackson 5, the group simply renamed themselves The Jacksons.
