Ohhhh oooh sending it out a love call (love call)
Sending out a love call (love call, love call)
(Oooh baby now) (ohhh ooooh) sending out a love call
Sending out a love call yeah yeah yeah (love call, love call)
Anybody here, anybody in this world
Can tell a lonely boy where he can find a lonely girl
Ohhhh I've searched and I've searched every when and where

But no one (no one) seems to care
Just to hug or kiss or be in your arms
Now I can't even, no no no
Ohhhh oooh sending it out a love call (love call)
Sending out a love call (love call, love call)
(Yeah yeah yeah)

Ohhhh oooh sending it out a love call (yeah yeah yeah)
We've got a love call (oh yeah)
Like the birds in the trees I can sing a sweet melody
Sending out a love call (oh yeah) (hey girl)
But love keeps playing tricks on me
Love keeps playing hide and seek

But oh love (oh love) where can you be
I've been searching for you now every place
Come on out now and show your face
Last night, night before 25 kisses or more
Stand out here when the love comes in hit him in the head
With a rolling

Hey love, said I'm gonna get you love, hey love
Ooohhhh sending out a love call (love call)
Sending out a love call (love call, love call)
Ready or not here I come with so much love you better run

Ohhhh, sending out a love call (love call, love call)
Sending out a love call (yeah, yeah)

Ooohhhh sending out a love call (love call)
Sending out a love call (love call, love call)
Nana baby na ooooh sending it out a love call (yeah yeah)
Sending out a love call (yeah, yeah, yeah)
We've got a love call (oh yeah)

The Jackson 5

The Jackson 5 were originally formed in 1963 under the name, The Jackson Brothers. The founding members were Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, and Marlon. Michael would join the group as the lead singer a year later, a move which pushed Jermaine to sing the backing vocals and play the lead guitar.

After participating in a series of talent shows, they entered the professional music scene in 1967, signing with Steeltown Records and releasing ten singles. In 1969, they left Steeltown Records in order to sign with Motown.

In 1975, most of the Jacksons had opted out of recording any more music for Motown, expressing desires to have creative control over their songs, as well as royalties. Learning that they were earning only 2.8% of royalties from Motown, Joe Jackson, the father and manager of the group, began to negotiate a lucrative contract with Epic records, which offered a royalty rate of 20% per record. The deal was completed in June 1975. As Motown owned the name The Jackson 5, the group simply renamed themselves The Jacksons.
