[Verse 1]
Been reaching for a reason for the pain that's come
Been waiting for the season when the healing's done
Well, lined up in black and white
This blood runs red on both sides

[Chorus]
Broken in two
Hurting as one, hurting as one
Hurting as one, hurting as one
Hurting as...

[Verse 2]
See the battle, now it's raging in our hearts and minds
Hear the voices how they're shouting out the others' crimes
Well, our past lies dressed in white
We're all just dragged to the fight

[Chorus]

[Bridge]
Lined up in black and white
This blood runs red on both sides
Our past now thrown aside
We're all just dragged to the fight

[Chorus]
Broken in two
Hurting as one, hurting as one
Hurting as one, hurting as one
We could be one, we could be one
We're coming undone, we could be one
Hurting as...

The Offspring

The Offspring is an American punk rock band from Huntington Beach, California, formed in 1984. The current line-up of the band Brian Keith “Dexter” Holland (vocals, guitar), Kevin “Noodles” Wasserman (lead guitar), Greg “Greg K.” Kriesel (bass), and Pete Parada (drums).

The Offspring is currently one of the biggest punk rock acts, along with the likes of Green Day, Rancid, and Sublime, all of which come from California. The Offspring and other groups are credited for reviving main-stream punk rock, though it isn’t as popular as it was in the ‘80s.
