[Verse 1]
I was out in the city
I was out in the rain
I was feeling down hearted
I was drinking again
I was standing by the bridges
Where the dark water flows
I was talking to a stranger
About times long ago

[Pre-Chorus]
I was young, I was foolish
I was angry, I was vain
I was charming, I was lucky
Tell me how, how I've changed

[Chorus]
Now I'm out, oh, out of control
Now I'm out, oh, out of control, yeah
Oh, help me now, yeah

[Verse 2]
And the girls in the doorway
And the boys on the game
And the drunks and the homeless
They all know me
And the police on the corner
Give a nod and a wave
As they point me
To my final destination

[Pre-Chorus]
I was young, I was foolish
I was angry, I was vain
I was charming, I was lucky
Tell me how, how I've changed

[Chorus]
Now I'm out, oh, out of control, oh
Now I'm out, whoa, out of control
Whoa, help me now

[Verse 3]
In the hotel, I'm excited
By the smile on her face
But I wondered
How was time gonna change her?

[Pre-Chorus]
I was young, I was foolish
I was angry, I was vain
I was charming, I was out there
Tell me how, how I've changed

[Chorus]
Now I'm out, whoa, out of control, oh yes
Oh, I'm out, oh, out of control
Oh yes, I am

The Rolling Stones

Formed in London in 1962, The Rolling Stones led the “British Invasion” along with The Beatles and were so successful their influence can be seen in arguably every rock ‘n’ roll band that followed.

Three of the current members have been there since the band’s singer Mick Jagger and guitarist Keith Richards, who write the majority of the band’s catalogue and also produced some albums as The Glimmer Twins; and drummer Charlie Watts. The fourth official member is guitarist Ronnie Wood, who has been there since 1975 (the keyboardist and bassist who play in studio and live are usually not listed). The Stones have released more than 20 studio albums, and even as age caught up on them, continued to be a huge attraction on the live circuit, with big stadium tours continuing through the 1990s, 2000s and into the 2010s.
