[Verse 1]
Got a sweet black angel
Got a pin up girl
Got a sweet black angel
Up upon my wall
Well, she isn’t no singer
And she isn’t no star
But she sure talk good
And she move so fast
But the gal in danger
Yeah, de gal in chains
But she keep on pushing
Would you take her place?

[Chorus]
She counting up the minutes
She counting up the days
She's a sweet black angel, woh

[Verse 2]
Not a sweet black slave
Ten little niggers
Sitting on de wall
Her brothers been a falling
Falling one by one
For a judges murder
In a judges court
Now de judge he going to judge her
For all that he's worth
Well de gal in danger
The gal in chains
But she keep on pushing
Would you do the same

[Chorus]
She counting up the minutes
She counting up the days
She's a sweet black angel, woh

[Verse 3]
Not a gun toting teacher
Not a Red loving school mom
Isn’t someone going to free her
Free the sweet black slave

The Rolling Stones

Formed in London in 1962, The Rolling Stones led the “British Invasion” along with The Beatles and were so successful their influence can be seen in arguably every rock ‘n’ roll band that followed.

Three of the current members have been there since the band’s singer Mick Jagger and guitarist Keith Richards, who write the majority of the band’s catalogue and also produced some albums as The Glimmer Twins; and drummer Charlie Watts. The fourth official member is guitarist Ronnie Wood, who has been there since 1975 (the keyboardist and bassist who play in studio and live are usually not listed). The Stones have released more than 20 studio albums, and even as age caught up on them, continued to be a huge attraction on the live circuit, with big stadium tours continuing through the 1990s, 2000s and into the 2010s.
