[Verse 1]
You move it to the left
Yeah, you go for yourself
You move it to the right
If it takes all night
Now take it kinda slow
With a whole lot of soul
Don't move it too fast
Just make it last
You scratch just like a monkey
Yeah you do, real cool
You slide it to the limbo
Woah, how low can you go?
Now come on baby
Don't fall down on me now
Just move it right here
To the Harlem shuffle

[Chorus]
Yeah, yeah, yeah, to the Harlem shuffle
Yeah, yeah, yeah, to the Harlem shuffle

[Verse 2]
Hitch hitch, hitch hike baby
Across the floor
Woah, woah, woah, I can't stand it no more
Now come on baby (Oh c'mon baby)
Now get into your slide
Just ride, ride, ride
Little pony, ride

[Chorus]
Yeah, yeah, yeah, do the Harlem shuffle
Yeah, yeah, yeah, do the Harlem shuffle
(Do the Monkey shine)
Yeah, yeah, yeah shake a tail feather baby
Yeah, yeah, yeah shake a tail feather baby

[Instrumental Interlude]

[Chorus]
Yeah, yeah, yeah do the Harlem shuffle
Yeah, yeah, yeah do the Harlem shuffle
Yeah, yeah, yeah do the Harlem shuffle
Yeah, yeah, yeah do the Harlem shuffle

[Instrumental Outro]

[Audience Applause]

The Rolling Stones

Formed in London in 1962, The Rolling Stones led the “British Invasion” along with The Beatles and were so successful their influence can be seen in arguably every rock ‘n’ roll band that followed.

Three of the current members have been there since the band’s singer Mick Jagger and guitarist Keith Richards, who write the majority of the band’s catalogue and also produced some albums as The Glimmer Twins; and drummer Charlie Watts. The fourth official member is guitarist Ronnie Wood, who has been there since 1975 (the keyboardist and bassist who play in studio and live are usually not listed). The Stones have released more than 20 studio albums, and even as age caught up on them, continued to be a huge attraction on the live circuit, with big stadium tours continuing through the 1990s, 2000s and into the 2010s.
